Big K.R.I.T. - 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time | AOTM

Comments

Krit makes song of the most personal songs of his class. One could argue he’s in that j Cole, wale, Kendrick class when it comes to music that can touch your soul and emotions.

Phildiño

Krits best work imo

Joe

Shout out to you. I gave the album a listen cause of this comment and its been on repeat all day.

Keenan Nash

Y’all about to hear greatness

skinnychub

krit was sooo cold yall should check out the new jpegmafia and danny brown project!

Darwin Avila Sandoval

Guy named ICECOLDBISHOP dropped his debut Generational Curse and its phenomenal. One of the most unique sounds and is heavily influenced by Kendrick and you can hear it. Promise you wont be disappointed by it. Best album I've heard in ages.

Vencsi

Jae Skeese dropped a crazy freestyle on bootleg kev, hope you guys check it out

Rudra

Damn, this is one of my favorite albums of all time, got the vinyl up in my room. So so happy y'all checked it out and enjoyed it this much on first listen, especially the second side which is also my fave for sure. And honestly yall picked up on some things in this listen that I haven't after all this time listening to it so props to yall!

Maadhav

(D) Yeah I've been checking the comments and 4EvaNaDay seems to be the next one up! (Haven't forgotten about RTJ either, back on that soon!)

VibeVilla

(D) Had no idea he responded to Kendrick, GOTTA check that! Probably during the next VIBESESH

VibeVilla

(D) Definitely gotta check those other projects out at some point as well. I'm still digesting this one tbh. The spoken word piece being Justin speaking to KRIT makes so much sense as well

VibeVilla

Really one of the great albums in recent memory

VibeVilla

Always gotta be someone like you bro lol

Nathan Smith

You can't go wrong with doing more KRIT. KRIT Wuz Here and 4EvaNaDay are probably his most acclaimed projects

SAM-WISE GAMGEE

Damn that shit was so good. I needed these Southern Vibes and now I feel at peace

SAM-WISE GAMGEE

Brudda I been waiting for this reaction for so long🤣 LETS GOOOOO

Moeez Malik

You guys should add KRIT's Cadillactica album to the poll. Another great project to check out

Brian Walters

Yess dude Bel-Air is one of my favorite shows out rn, that and ted lasso

Joshua Johnson

If you haven’t listened to “mount Olympus” by Krit, plz do the 1st version. The music video is on YouTube it’s his answer to Kendrick’s Control verse. Straight fire.

George Jr.

This is one of my two favorite albums of the 2010s along with To Pimp A Butterfly, and I’m so glad y’all loved it. The first half is excellent and might have my two favorite tracks (Get Away, Big KRIT), but the second half is perfect from start to finish. Y’all picked up on way more of the conceptual stuff than I’d expect anyone to on a first listen, but when you get a chance to listen back, the spoken word part of the Big KRIT track is Justin Scott speaking to Big KRIT. And I’m glad you asked if he’s got any other projects like this because you’re in luck. I personally think this is his best work, but he has several very good to great mixtapes that he produced entirely himself. Return of 4Eva is the best one for me, but Krit Wuz Here, 4EvaNaDay and King Remembered in Time are all worth checking out even if you can’t do a reaction for them. But if you do check them out, just make sure to seek out the original versions because he had to change a lot of the beats and cut some songs entirely to get them on streaming platforms. But the original mixtapes are all available on DatPiff and YouTube, you just have to check the date for the latter.

Chance

This project can't really stand with classics like K.R.I.T. Wuz Here & 4Eva N A Day IMO. Not bad though, just more commercial and not all produced by K.R.I.T. himself.

StayHydrated

Yesssssir! Finally a KRIT reaction! This is a great album

Brian Walters

Letsss goo!
