2022-08-25 15:32:04 +0000 UTCThere's many times when listening backwards that it transitions well (mostly with lyrics that are said). Like after Mother I Sober ends, his kid says "Mr. Morale" and the track Mr. Morale comes after. When Auntie Diaries ends, he says "fa**ot, fa**ot, fa**ot we can say it together, but only if you let a white girl say n***a". Savior comes after, Kendricks first words are "Kendrick made you think about it, but he is not your savior". Then on the next disc, Rich Spirit feels like a good follow up to We Cry Together(based off bits of the lyrics) then Rich - Interlude comes which has Kodak who was fatherless during his life from my knowledge, after that comes Father Time. There's just moments that it sounds like it flows well backwards based off the things above plus a bit more of others.

2022-08-24 16:18:57 +0000 UTCI dont think it flows well backwards. Having a song like mother i sober be track 2 and auntie diaries at track 4 doesnt make much sense to me imo. Mirror doesnt feel like an intro either, its an outro in every way

But I been listening to Kendricks album since it dropped and the 1st disc is The Big Steppers and the 2nd is Mr. Morale from our knowledge right? The album title isn't made in that order(Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers). The title of the album is backwards according to the disc order, so I tried playing it completely backwards(Mirror being the intro and United in Grief being the outro). It felt like it flowed decently well as if it could be meant to play this way. I thought I'd share this with y'all even tho I'm prob tripping about this, lol. ππ»
