2022-08-19 02:17:09 +0000 UTCAlso, I get the angle Game is going with in saying that Eminem isn't really embraced by the culture and isn't top 5, but how effective is it really to say that when that's what Benzino said, that's what Lord Jamar has said in a million interviews, and others have said it. I feel like unless The Game has a fresh angle on it, I think the attacks on Em for not being black and not necessarily being fully embraced by a black culture are a bit played out. Maybe I'm wrong about that

I agreed with your take about the song being way too long, and I've never wanted to hear Game rapping like Em. Em is an alien, and there's a reason why his style is so unique. The imitation was decent, but there's clear levels to rapping like that. If the Game had just dropped like a potent 3-4 minutes rapping as he normally would, I think this would be a lot better.

There's no way you don't bump Em and then you reference 15 of his songs and use the same style, adlibs, and even talk about his damn youtube interviews about rhyming orange. Game talking crazy on this song. Even ignoring all the Em songs that are dope - he gave the world Ghetto Gospel by 2pac so I gotta give him the flowers for that. Maybe he's not getting played at the cookout, but everybody knows the battle songs from 8mile is all I'm sayin
