2020-08-02 14:43:49 +0000 UTCI was at one of the concerts that Tyler was at with Eminem & the energy & sound he had made me expect something completely different than this project. He had so much energy & beat to his music, even though I didn't think he was all that great from my taste standpoint. Tyler has a unique sound as it pertains to today's culture, but I felt this was more of a R&B sound than rap. The story telling is great but I stopped listening to pop music because they are all love songs for the most part so this project didn't work for me. Just way too low key and instrumental so I doubt i will listen to it again except for my son insisting on playing some of it in the car. 😒😒 Otherwise thx guys for your always on point discussion and take on the project. Honestly both you guys & my sons have opened me up to a lot of artists I never listened to before & I really do appreciate that! 😁
