Small update
Added 2022-02-19 17:30:49 +0000 UTCI am on track to make my deadline--but it's very, very tight. A minor communication snafu meant that I thought that deadline was a month later than it actually is T_T. At the moment, there is no wiggle room in the schedule because supply chain issues puts a lot of pressure on making absolutely certain that everything is ready for the printer, period. They can't reschedule print runs--they simply lose that run.
Given that some books are being pushed back (i.e. coming out later) even now, this makes a kind of bitter sense.
I would have loved it if my pub date for Sword and Shadow did not overlap my deadline crush. But I'd also like to win the lottery. Sometimes life is hectic. (Yes, that's the SFW word.)

Because I did not realize that things had been shuffled, I said Yes when Kate Elliott asked if I'd like to do a live-stream chat on the 20th of February, i.e. tomorrow at 1 p.m. EST. I *think* this is only open to SFWA Nebula conference members, but have been told that it will be available on Youtube after the fact.
I will try to get part of Hunter's Redoubt out before Monday. Thanks so much for being understanding & supportive about delays.
