As a pregnant woman myself, I understand Pam! Everything makes me throw up. Smells, foods, etc. itโs not a crazy request for her to ask them to be considerate of her pregnancy symptoms. She canโt help it and it may not be their problem but they could TRY to be considerate ๐ It felt good seeing them get their karma for being a jerk to her about it lol

2025-08-19 01:24:28 +0000 UTCI have to say, as someone who has scent allergies, I have done a version of what Pam did in the cold open. I am so sensitive to smells and when I get a whiff of something that disagrees with me (strong perfumes/colognes, or anything with lavender or white tea, especially), I get such a headache or even a migraine, and nausea. Something like 10% of adults have scent allergies of some degree. Most of my co-workers have been really accommodating but I work in a University and had to post a sign on my office door asking people not to enter if they are wearing a strong scent. I went to a legal conference and one of the panels was about workplace accommodation and they were covering lesser-considered issues like people with scent allergies or people who were sober and it was awesome to see it being contextualized as an accessibility issue. And that's totally fair, I think. I should have a right to work in an environment that doesn't make me sick. So good for Pam for standing up for herself.
