I recently was asked to redesign a character for a close friend. This boy's a scrawny, wiry little guy, which I'm not good at because my muscle-drawing itch usually gets the better of me. When drawing his ref, I decided to use the skinny men in The World Ends With You as inspiration and partial reference, which resulted in a pretty angular, pared down looking turnaround.

The use of TWEWY's style as reference for that previous sketch had me thinking it'd be a lot of fun to draw a more complete picture with really chunky, thick lines, haha. I dropped the build inspiration however, and kept it close to my usual style.
