Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

Love watching you guys but Spartan you can be pretty clueless when it comes to more complex emotions with people, especially women in shows lol. Your surprise about Maggie lashing out at Glen is because you didn't quite catch all the stuff that built up before. Glen wasn't asking mostly for her benefit, it was to satisfy his own frustration. She pretty much straight up said that. The build up to that was Glen lashing out as a way to vent his own frustrations, being aggressive even against Rick and others, being rash and honestly a bit stupid with a whole goal of punishing the Governor specifically. Essentially this was him being selfish, he was shamed and angry by what she went through (probably his inability to protect her and her doing it for him) and he didn't do what was best for her, he didn't stop to genuinely ask her what she needs during all that. It was all about him and his own anger and solving it in his way. He's off beating his chest proving he's still a man and not doing what she needs. Then he comes to her after all that and she was calling his BS. That his actions have been all about making himself feel better not her, despite the thing happening to her. During all that time you didn't call Glen out for being too rash, for being inconsiderate, for not actually checking with her in this whole process vs letting his own anger be a priority. Then Maggie lashes out once and you get upset lol. I know you don't mean any of this purposefully but you can be quite oblivious sometimes. Respectfully I would just recommend thinking a bit more on the rash male actions more, how selfish they can be and why someone (male or female) might be upset when they present that way. Look at the bigger picture a bit and how all sides effect each other. Pudgey can get a bit narrow minded with this too once she "sides" with someone. Often these things are more complex than sides, one side being right or wrong but complex justified emotions on either side.

Axels death was a little sad. Guy was genuinely decent, could have potentially matched up with Carol had he stayed around a bit longer.

Perhaps if only you could understand just how it makes a man feel for something like that to happen to the woman he loves. You're right, its absolutely traumatizing for both of them. Glenn isn't a bad guy for wanting to know exactly what happened to her. I can guarantee you most men would be imagining the worst case scenario over and over. Its terrible.

man i love hershel, he leads in such a mentor way - instead of telling glen he's making a mistake and dropping a wisdom bomb on him, he makes him sit with his decisions and never gives him an answer... "you think thats a good idea?" doesn't say it's bad, doesn't say it's good, lets glen realize himself that he's acting out of character. he's basically teaching glen how to lead without him realizing it. As pudgey said, glen was out of his depth in this episode, but he was trying because he had to. no one chose to be in the position they were in, you accept your role or you die. group needs a leader, glen stepped up because he had to...it was like watching a kid out of university on their first day of work..loads of potential, no idea what to do lol

Lets bingewatch this! =)

Maggie is upset because Glenn seems to be taking what happened to her as a personal insult towards himself instead of just worrying about her. Glenn is visibly upset and on edge. Maggie had enough of it. I can understand the confusion and Glenn means well but it’s just one of those things.

AlrightOK

People always seem to be lost and confused with Maggie and what she endured. Glenn literally made it all about himself. He was more upset and acting off of emotions when Maggie clearly didn’t want to keep reliving that moment. She has every right to be upset. Glenn was nearly beaten to death while Maggie could’ve easily been r@ped. Both are traumatizing. But he kept putting Maggie’s trauma at the center of it and she didn’t deserve that. He put all his anger and shame on the back of Maggie’s experience. That’s why she finally cleared the air and said what exactly happened to him so maybe he can stop reacting the way he has been.

The scars on Daryl’s back give even more backstory as to why he is always the first one to jump in and protect/save the most vulnerable.

Idk official title, but the “Rick and Lori theme” as I call it (starts playing in the intro when he spots her at the graves), is one of the most beautiful, haunting pieces of music. It played a lot in the pilot and I get goosebumps every time I hear it!

she was closest to Dale who was a morally decent person and she learned from him to trust and give people a shot. Shane was her only other person she felt akin to as they were kinda outsiders to an extent. The hate on andrea is unwarranted much like what lori got

I think Axel is definitely considered a "bad guy" in the normal world because burglary is burglary whether armed or not imo. But in the walker world....knowing he didnt even use a real gun would make me assume he's not a killer. Though that line of thinking may get me killed later on lol Shane would have killed all of those prisoners no matter what

Estevan Rivera

Pudgey is right - Maggie basically had to recount that entire horrible experience for Glenn's peace of mind (and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure she had already told him that the Governor didn't rape her). I don't think Maggie's reaction was entirely out of pocket. It was a very traumatic experience that she is still processing.

ZK

I like how Daryl got to show Meryl what he is capable of.... and the way Meryl was watching him, he looked impressed.

Korivex

Agreed that no one can top Rick as a leader, some people are just born leaders and he’s one of them.

JonSnow21

Maggie hate is unwarranted. Not every little thing is a clue or need explaining

SnorlaX

The governor sets my teeth on edge. He is definitely in need of controlling "his people", and the way he speaks of Rick you can tell he is envious - Rick is his competition and the governor needs to be the alpha.

Lyn Hurst

Hershel is one of the goats 🐐 trying to help Rick with what he’s going through, calling out Glenn for being Reckless and just generally helps everyone. The Governor is a top 3 villain in my mind , he lost his mind due to losing his family and the thing about him is that as you guy’s have said is he’s a borderline Psychopath and as you can see he doesn’t fear death , I mean just look at how he was barely moving when bullets were flying at him . One of you said it was a facade in an earlier episode but the man is Psychotic and doesn’t fear anything whatsoever especially after losing his “walker” daughter. There’s a reason Andrea is literally one of the most hated characters of all time , she’s a moron with an absolutely terrible judge of character, I don’t hate her but I don’t blame people who do bc she really gives them a reason to.

JonSnow21

I keep glazing the governor as a villain, but it's great how angry you get when he's on screen. I can feel the disgust emanating from the screen.

James Waters

Damn rip Axel. Literally was just starting to like him :(
