Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

Braveheart [1995] Uncut Movie Reaction

Comments

by the way, if ever you get a chance to go to scotland....go to stirling, check out the wallace monument....that sword is huge

Mark Laniel

great movie and yes the score is beautiful.....bagpipes always give me the chills. Been to scotland 9 times and can never get enough. Not sure if anyone else mentioned this but the father of Hamish was also the actor who played Jeor Mormont in game of thrones.

Mark Laniel

Master & Commander Far side of the World is a perfect movie for you both

Garrett Serbin

Great reaction as always! Interesting side note - since I know you are Game of Thrones fans (I first joined your Patreon when you were reacting to GOT). Did you recognize Hamish’s father? He was Lord Commander Jeor Mormont 15 years after Braveheart. Keep up the amazing work!

flink

Great reaction guys! Not sure if you guys have heard of The Legend of Zorro, but if you have I hope it’s in your radar. I think it’ll be a fun movie to react to, although it may be more on Pudgey’s lane as it leans on the romantic and charming aspect but it can’t be denied that every time el Zorro is on screen he elevates the movie.

Wes

Quite a movie innit :D This was a great watch-together. You might like (or maybe not) to know some notables of what was not historical and made up: 1.The blue woad-paints, Mel Gibson wanted to bring this from the Roman era Picts who lived in Scotland and painted themselves. 2.The kilt did not came to fashion in Scotland until the 15th century 3.Robert the Bruce did not betray William Wallace, and it was Robert who got the epithet "Braveheart"

wow thanks!! ❤️

CpaSpartan Pudgey

You have done some great reactions but for me this was up there with the very best. Can’t express how much I enjoyed it. Have not seen this film in years and watching you so engrossed and connected to the story was awesome.

Richie3891

I visited Scotland about 20 years ago. Beautiful. I learned the thistle is the Scottish national (for lack of a better word) flower.

Lyn Hurst

Are you saying the accents are incorrect lol?

Lyn Hurst

Watch Outlaw King after this, its the second part of this story. Excellent movie about Robert the Bruce after the death of William Wallace

Samatar Agon

Should watch Outlaw King next to continue the journey. Chris Pine and Aaron Taylor Johnson

Alex

PEAK movie

Cole

King Baldwin ✝️✝️✝️✝️

Kayleb Patel

"Greasy men in loincloths" lmaoo

Kayleb Patel

I love this movie. I had a super crush on Mel Gibson in the late 80s and early to mid 90s before he got a little loopy. I love how he can go deep into emotions to make it seem so real. I do love his sense of humor too. The movie does the depiction of the royals and land ownership, forced poverty in some ways, well. The right to sleep with a bride on her wedding day is such a power grab and control of the little people so they will fear us. It is a possessive thing in battles when the conquerors rape, pillage and whatever other heinous acts they can do to flex and rub it in the face of the rulers and people who lost the battle. Freedom is costly but so important to preserve. In this day and age we are still seeing the divisions between those in power over their own people and trying to wield it over other countries as well.

Lyn Hurst

Please tell me The Patriot is on your radar because that is another Mel banger!

taco man

Braveheart out of nowhere, I dinnae fash, I ken this is just the warmup for Outlander season 8.

Kairos

I hope next year you guys tackle The karate Kid saga. There's The Karate Kid 1, 2, and 3, the karate Kid spin-off movie with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, the Cobra Kai TV series, and then the movie karate Kid Legends. It may not have swords and guns and greasy men in loincloths but it's still a warrior saga 😜

Nathan Jasper

Are you not entertained? Oh wait wrong fandom. This is the Scots. Oor ye naht intertained, laddie?

Nathan Jasper

And speaking of Outlander, you’re probably aware but in case not, Bear McCreary, who composes the incredible score for Outlander, also did the score for the Walking Dead. The man is a legend!

Bill B.

What an experience. First saw this 30 years ago, still have tears on my face throughout most of the film, especially the ending. Every time lol.

Bill B.

at some point yes, when we feel ready. we wanted to start of with some bangers and we are also training our new movie editor with these more complex shows first

CpaSpartan Pudgey

I would love for you guys to react to Kingdom of Heaven.

Ondrej Izakovič

Will you still be watching Superbad? It won the last poll.

Apotheosis

Aaahhh and you’re Outlander fans too!!! I LLOOVVEEEE that show!!!

Bill B.

Hell yeah 2

Lyn Hurst

Hell yeah!!

Bill B.

So fitting that you are watching a dragon movie on the day Game of Thrones drops their new series trailer!!

Tyler Janes

It’s really not accurate. But that’s fine.

Julien

Now we’re talking. Absolute classic. Can’t wait for the edit.

Julien

My favourite film, this will be epic!

Alex

🥳🤘🏼❤️ enjoyy!!

CpaSpartan Pudgey

Oh my goddddd!!! Are you serious??? You guys have made my whole year! I’ve been waiting so long for this reaction 😭😭😭 I think it was almost 2 years ago I suggested it 🤣 I never thought this would come as it’s not very popular. I’m so excited to watch! Unfortunately I won’t be able to watch along till tomorrow (I’m on holiday/vacation right now) - This movie has a special place in my heart as a Scot 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Not historically accurate at all but such a beautiful story and makes me so proud to be Scottish.

Natalie-Anne

I'm sure yous'll love this, but as a Scot, I can't tolerate the ‘attempts’ at the accents lol, not since I was a child and oblivious to the quality :P

TeddyBearBonfire

Also, it is pretty accurate - just a bit exaggerated in some aspects

Nathan Cutter

Nice suprise drop. What a film this is

Nathan Cutter

From all the way in Scotland, & having grown up with this movie - I’m all in. Mel Gibson acting & directing, the soundtrack (‘Gift of a Thistle’), the battle scenes etc. Cried many a time 😄⚔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Ps Campbell, Hamish’s Dad is Lord Commander Mormont in GoT.

Jamie Neill

Got to do it… FREEDOM!!!!
