A while ago a received a request from Artufex, who wanted to see a timelapse of my comic page creation process. I wanted to wait for a more meaningful page before I did that, and I feel like 22 was a great spot for it.
I basically saved each phase as a new file and refreshed the CSP recording so you get a full minute of sketching, a full minute of lines and a full minute of colors. This process adds unnecessary file size and some additional effort, so while I'm glad I did it for this page, this isn't a process I'll be repeating often, or at all. 😅
Also included is the crude manuscript version of the page. Ages ago, I basically drew the entire comic like this over a couple of days. The text also acts as a sort of "sketch" for the finalized dialogue, carrying the gist of the intention. Sometimes, it serves well enough to make it to the final page, and sometimes it is rearranged, completely rewritten or erased. Maybe one day I will publish the entire crude manuscript for a laugh
I hope this pleases anyone who's interested in these sorts of progression posts!
