Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)
Use Google chromes picture in picture mode to overlay your own copy of the show over our reaction in a smaller window size (Link to the extension here: ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en )
We hope you enjoy the video!

Had to re-join Patreon for these uncut songs. An episode that breaks me every single time. Just devastating and one of the early times that had me appalled that the acting in this show was never nominated for the big awards. It’s criminal. Oh and “he’s just got lines” was the laugh I needed!

Lori was right in season 2 wanting to abort the baby from the begining. I feel like she was pressured to carry it, and that's wrong. Especially in that time.

Out of all the shows they have seen , (' red wedding episode ' , etc ) ... I believe this is the hardest Pudgey has cried.

One of the saddest episodes ever, although there are many more to come, I also can't stop myself from sobbing even after rewatching this show dozens of times. And I'm not even a very emotional person.

Some of the jarring cuts to the scenes are because this aired on television in the U.S. and they jammed commercials in. So, unfortunately, at time the pacing is a little weird.

I think Lori would have died either way. She wasn't able to deliver the baby naturally. Her and the baby would have both died if Maggie didn't do that.

i dont think its right to blame lori at all in this situation, they both chose to keep the baby. Remember beth had the same point of view, where she asked lori " how could you do that? be pregnant in this world?" its a valid question but its about hope as pudgey said.

Humans have had babies on the move for about 2 million years. Lori having a baby now is nothing new. And the fact that the group will have to take care of the baby is pretty normal. It's called alloparenting and is a defining feature of our species and lineage.

I agree. I think its not something youd force on someone of course but if a woman chooses that (esp in a situation where its likely theyd both die anyway) then that is admirable. If everyone waits for 'stability' no one will ever have a child and that would be the end of humanity in a couple generations

I think Lori had a constant back and forth with whether carl would be better off dead, should she abort the baby, she even said shed be better off dead. I think on some level she was ready to go. she felt like the only good things shed done was carl and this baby. She had a strength and also a weakness to her character. And im glad im not the only one who gets so worked up. I get 10000% invested so I totally get it pudgey

I love how you both gave respect to T-Dog, he didn't have a huge role on the show, but he was a good man and brave as hell.
As others have said, Andrew Lincoln's performance is top-tier, up there with your Bryan Cranstons and Michael C. Halls (Dexter lead, hope you watch that show one day too) and he's still nowhere near his peak.

What a banger episode and reaction! When I watched it a first time I was shocked. I never cared about Tdog that much but he was a part of the group. The whole process of Lori dieing, Carl shooting her and Rick breaking down was gut and heart wrenching. It's these kind of episodes that seperates the Walking Dead from the pack. You remember the Red Wedding, you'll probably remember "Killer Within"....

All life is precious, and in this world I would argue it is of paramount importance to try at all costs to ensure that there is some kind of way that humanity can survive beyond. That's why I think it was right she had the child, because if there is a chance that baby will live on, then it's the first of a new generation to potentially help rebuild and repopulate humanity. I'd say Lori sacrificed herself for that higher ideal, whether it comes to pass or not.

The idea that Lori and/or Rick are "selfish" for not having an abortion is sending me. I didn't realize the local abortion clinic was still operating. Or was she supposed to get her guts racked with a coat hanger?

I don’t think the abortion would have worked without some medical intervention from Hershel. Because the pills Lori was taking to abort the baby were morning after pills which only work to delay ovulation 3-5 days after unprotected sex. Lori was already about 5 weeks pregnant then so it wouldn’t have worked 😭 So sad to see her go this way, terrible brutal death. Her last words to Carl broke me 💔

If you think Andrew Lincoln is amazing in this episode which he is but wait till some other episodes in this season, imo him and Bryan Cranston (Breaking bad) are the greatest tv performances of all time . Also Andrea isn’t the brightest when it comes to reading people and let’s not forget ,she fell for Shane who was basically an open lunatic who let everyone see how how crazy and bad his temper was . The Governor on the hand is smart and extremely charismatic soo it doesn’t shock me in the slightest how Andrea fell for him , she’s stupid and there’s not much more to it tbh.

Everybody gave everything they had for this episode. And we gave everything we had experiencing it. Hope you guys are okay! This episode originally aired November 4 2012 and The Red Wedding would air June 2 2013. So not only did we as TWD viewers have to go into the holidays with this heavy heart, but then we got traumatized all over again in the summer in GoT!

Oh this shook me. Very shocking episode. I loved the Lori scene. I get her wanting to save the baby. She wasn't dilated but was bleeding a lot, so c-section was the only option or they both would have died. Carl having to go through all that that was tragic. T-Dog went out saving Carol and possibly others. Rick's pain in the end was a gut punch.

I already knew they were gonna kill of t dog when he started getting less and less lines😭 but lori's death broke my heart. I was not expecting her to get killed off completely. It was starting to bother me that they keep killing off core characters like dale, shane, lori and t dog but I forgave the writers because the rest of this season is PEAK😭

Yeah that was horrifying. Because of these reactions, I've rewatched the show recently for the first time since it aired and I'm shocked at how bleak, harrowing, and astonishingly cruel these early seasons were. Back then I quit in S6-S7 but now have finally finished the show.
I know there is a lot of debate about whether to continue past the current commitment of 8 seasons. Now that I've seen the whole thing, I vote emphatically, yes, do continue, but with one caveat: I recommend you take a break, as in, move on to another series after S8, and then come back for S9-11 later. I say that because upon rewatching the show, I think a big part of why people check out at around S6-8 is... fatigue.
This show is brutal and that can wear on you. And when the writing dips or the nature of the show changes, it can be difficult to stay with it. But I think if you take a break and come back fresh, you will enjoy the last seasons immensely, like I did.
