GDC Logistics - Realistic Economy Mod for ETS2 Updated for 1.54 Open Beta!

European Truckers, Get Ready for a New Challenge!

We're excited to announce that the GDC Logistics - Realistic Economy Mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (both Classic and Hardcore editions) has been updated with initial support for the latest 1.54 Open Beta!

Safe Mode Enabled:

To ensure a smooth transition and prevent any unexpected issues, the mod is temporarily in safe mode. This means that only the core features, such as the economy data and XP progression, are fully functional.

Limited or Disabled Features:

Some non-essential features may be temporarily limited or disabled while we work to ensure full compatibility with the 1.54 update. These may include:

• Truck, trailer, and parts full unlock

• Cargo market reworks

• Used truck market adjustments

• Police and fine system modifications

• Other non-essential gameplay tweaks

Restoration of Features:

We are actively working to restore these features and ensure they are fully compatible with the new update. We will release updates as soon as possible to re-enable these features and enhance your gameplay experience.

Expanded DLC Support:

This update also includes:

• Additional Volvo Trucks DLC Support: Enjoy enhanced compatibility with the Volvo Trucks DLC, including updated truck models and accessories.

• Iveco S-Way DLC Support: The IVECO S-Way has officially arrived in Euro Truck Simulator 2, we have now added support for it in the economy mod! This cutting-edge truck sets new standards for fuel efficiency and driver-focused design.

• Additional Tirsan Trailer Pack DLC Support: Haul a wider variety of cargo with expanded support for the Tirsan Trailer Pack DLC.

Coming Soon:

We have some exciting updates planned for the ETS2 versions of the Realistic Economy Mod! These include:

• Fuel Price Update: Expect a refresh of fuel prices to reflect current market conditions.

• Fuel Card Rework: We're working on introducing and expanding the fuel card mod add-on (currently available for ATS) to Euro Truck Simulator 2 for increased realism and convenience. We expect that players will be able to utilize these cards across both games with a single mod that will be compatible for both ATS and ETS2

• Skill Progression Overhaul: We're planning a major overhaul of the skill progression system to provide a more balanced and rewarding experience, and ETS2 Hardcore Edition Players will be the first to take part in beta testing of this new skill progression.

Why Safe Mode?

Game updates can sometimes introduce unexpected changes that affect mod functionality. Safe Mode allows us to thoroughly test and adjust the mod to ensure everything works smoothly with the new game version before fully re-enabling all the features.
