Hello drivers!
Let me start by apologizing for the lack of weekly reports. I've been extremely busy, and well... broke :P
That's about to change however! While Warren Transport has been a great company for me since July of 2018; they are not able to meet me current needs these last few months. I've made the decision to leave Warren and head over to a different company. My 2019 VNL will be going with me as the vehicle title is in my name! I completed my last trip with Warren this evening, a 3'300 mile round trip from Iowa to Arizona and back!
These last 6 years of hard work is definitely evident as my truck is looking a bit rachet right now... rode hard and put away wet if you will. That's alright though, we'll get her looking right again within the next couple of months.
I'll also be relocating where I live as well within the next two weeks during my transition process with the next company I'll be switching over to.
With all that said, I'll be very over the next 2-3 weeks for sure; but I will continue to use my spare time to provide you some updates to the economy mod and start shifting focus to some of the benefits promised to paying Patreon members!
What's Planned For this weekend?
This weekend I will be focusing on getting the ETS2 Hardcore Edition of the economy mod uploaded to steam, and a provide a fuel prices update for both ATS and ETS2, as well as add fuel card support for ETS2. As a reminder, I believe we'll be able to allow you to use your pre-existing fuel cards for both ATS and ETS2 without issue to help minimize the amount of mods you'll need to download/update.
Another area of focus will be reworking the default Quick Job and Used Trucks to make them more appealing/practical. Once this is complete, I will begin adding more unique used trucks as there are currently not enough options for a player to chose from by default. These unique used trucks will only be available to paying Patreon members based on there membership level.
Protecting our work
Some of you may have noticed that you are no longer able to openly browse through our non-steam mod files. This is being done to protect the work that has been completed; and prevent players from exploiting certain aspects of the mod to their advantage by making edits to/deleting certain files.
As of now, being able to access these non-steam workshop mods is easily done via Patreon/Google Drive; however if leaks start becoming an issues; I will resort to manually providing players with a unique, ID based download method which will have information that can be tracked back to a specific individual if they leak paid/unlocked versions of our work.
Don't be "That Guy" that ruins things for everyone else.
New Patreon Members!
Well, honestly there are a lot more of you who joined recently and I don't have the time to go through the list and provide names of our new members in this post, but I will do so when time permits :P
I still will say thank you for joining however and I am very grateful of your support.
I'll hit you guys with a News Break when I have some more updates! Until then, have fun!
