Howdy from Tasmania!

I’m sitting here next to a sleeping Zippy looking out at the ocean in Dodges Ferry, Tasmania, wondering how I got so darn lucky to get to travel with my family to distant lands and play music for complete strangers (who somehow know the words to our songs!) with my friends/bandmates.

We just got back from petting kangaroos at a wildlife sanctuary. Petting kangaroos!

What a lovely, clarifying reprieve this has been from the post-election American madness. I’ll have some more thoughts to share on that when I’ve got a bit more time, but for now, to any folks despairing back in the states: hang in there, and don’t let the bastards get you down. There are things worth fighting for in this world, chiefly among them being the people you love.
