Drakes opening verse kinda throws it off to begin but as discussed in slime you out, it’s about context and when you put it with the rest of the song with its different melodic flows and beat switches, it fits better with the entirety of the song.

Kendrick only got away with a project this long because he literally didn't drop anything but like 3 features in 5 years and it was a concept album divided into two discs lmao But this same style of track packaged in different ways to appeal to the most people. Sonically great at least and more mass appealing, but I'm not sure how everyone will react to that. Can't wait to hear it and see it in captions in the coming months.
