Hey there, Halftilt here with a short update on what's going on -- first, I'm still on vacation! I've been seeing all of your messages and will get back to them once I get back -- I just have a tendency to try to avoid engaging with social media while I'm enjoying my vacation.
I'll be returning from my trip around the 20th of this month, but figured I'll give an update on what's planned and what's going on.
So, first of all, work hasn't totally paused on Lustiest Lair or Light-Space Love, for that matter. I've been bouncing between both projects while away -- I've got a thing where I always need to be doing something, if we're not out doing something, then I'm working on my projects or trying to improve my art.
Honestly I haven't even played any new games either since I started work on Lustiest Lair -- though recently I've picked up Cult of the Lamb, which has been an absolute banger. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Anyway, I've got some fun stuff planned for Lustiest Lair. Been seeing a few comments and getting some messages about splitting up Lustiest Lair (players wanted to pick and choose what parts of Lustiest Lair they want on their save) -- the Lustiest Enemies standalone mods were my first attempt at that, and I think I'm going to go ahead and break up more of the mod as I add new stuff -- which brings me to one of the next thing that's coming.
Events
I'll be updating the art on some of the events to be more "flavorful", fit thematically art-wise, and match what's going on with the text as well, I put in a few examples here, and you expect most of them to fit in with this flavor.
Sex Framework Standalone Hero
I'm also still working on the Sex Framework Standalone hero -- there's a few more things I need to get done outside of the artwork for the hero herself (such as icons for abilities, art for armor/weapons and sounds for each ability).
I'll also need to do some testing on her, balance out her damage and add support for different types of enemies. The first release might be a bit a bumpy since this is my first release of a hero, and I'm learning they're much much much more involved than monsters.
Fun stuff.
DLC Overhauls
At this point, I'm getting closer to working on the DLC Overhauls, there's a few lingering bugs because of it that I should quash anyway. I'm expecting after the standalone hero release, the DLCs will be the next projects.
Other Stuff
There's also the trinkets, curios, items and monsters/bosses -- which I'll need to make a standalone for the Tentacle Broodmother next -- and the text/dialogue changes as a standalone mod, which will come last since it's the largest project.
Yeah, so that's about it. I'll still be posting art from the artists I'm working with in the meantime and will have more detailed posts like this when I return.
Other than that, the vacation's been fun and I've been enjoying the change of scenery. It's also been really good for de-cluttering my headspace.
