Progress Update - March 2nd, 2022

Hey everyone! Halftilt here with another progress update!

I'll break it down into a few sections -- Sex Framework, Tentacle Broodmother and DLC.

So...

Darkest Dungeon Sex Framework

If you've taken a look at some of the files for the latest release -- or were lucky enough to find an interaction that triggers these animations -- you'd see some of the monsters have some new animations (like the one below) and abilities with additional parameters.

Well, this is the beginning of the Sex Framework. Above is the Cumslave's "sex_with_human_male" animation for the DD Sex Framework. The execution of this framework is to have monsters and heroes have unique animations that are triggered by abilities from other monsters/heroes that will cause a specific sprite to be displayed. These animations should account for the majority of sexy situations that can happen in an encounter.
Such as an ability causing a hero to masturbate, orgasm, get molested by tentacles, etc.

In the next few days, I'll have a pretty big announcement about a major project I'll be working on for the Sex Framework.

Tentacle Broodmother

The Tentacle Broodmother should be finished pretty soon -- there's just tons of monsters involved with the thing (such as her spawning eggs, eggs hatching into tentacle monsters and tentacle monsters brainwashing your heroes) it took a lot longer than expected and I wasn't able to release her alongside the Priestess -- which was much more simple by comparison.

It'll likely be a release similar to the Priestess encounter where it'll just be the Tentacle Broodmother encounter as part of that release with a few minor surprises added in.

Crimson Curse DLC

A while back I mentioned that Crimson Curse was on my radar, and honestly I've taken on quite a handful of new projects that overhauling the DLC felt like it wasn't nearly as exciting as the projects I'm currently working on.

I do plan on making that my focus once more -- though it may take some time given the ongoing development of the Sex Framework, boss encounters and some lore updates I've been working on.

Worry not, though! Crimson Curse is on my radar and it will get an overhaul similar to vanilla. And Color of Madness will follow.
