Progress Update - August 18th, 2021

Hey everyone! Halftilt here with another update on the new Crimson Curse DLC overhaul!

Lore Background:

The main idea behind the overhaul is that we'll be changing the curse into a parasite that attaches itself to a host -- the origin of this parasite is unknown, but the denizens of the Courtyard use it to turn women into futanaris to supply them with endless supplies of a fluid known only as "Amrita" -- this parasite is known as the "Phallic Parasitus".

As the parasite grows and its desire to produce Amrita is not sated, the infected will become overwhelmed with a desire to satisfy herself by using the parasite as a pseudo-member -- either by pleasuring themselves or with the help of others -- until they lose their mind and become a slave to their new "attachment".

The way in which they sate this parasite is by attaching an "Amrita Extractor" to it, which will both satisfy the host and "drain" the parasite until it no longer causes the host to be overwhelmed with lust.

That's about it in terms of background, without spoiling too much that will be revealed through your play-throughs of the new DLC.

Release Date:

I plan on releasing an early Alpha version in the next week, I'm still getting some details ironed out with the sprites (since it will be turning your heroes in Futas), mostly so it matches the flavor of each stage -- so this next release will just be text changes with a few bug fixes; not all of the DLC text will be changed, but a sizable amount certainly will be.

Also, if you're subscribed at the Darkest, Bloodmoon and Stygian pledges, I'm hoping to deliver more frequent Alpha & Beta releases going forward for you guys.
