Android gamers! A public vote on transferring saves!
Added 2024-07-18 13:36:13 +0000 UTCHi everyone, there is now an option to transfer saves between every version on Android automatically!
This is done by creating saves in a different folder that is not deleted after deleting the game. This sounds just perfect, but there are some issues.
First, it requires access to files, and second, I have to make a build of the game for older Android versions, which causes the installation to be blocked by Google Play Protect and requires you to click the “Install anyway” button. I assume that many people may be uncomfortable with this, so I created a poll about it.
Vote in favor of automatically transferring saves between versions if you don't mind giving the game access to your files and skipping the warning from Google Play Protect.
Or vote against transferring if you don't want to give the game file access or ignore the warning.
