Divine Intervention: Shopping with a Friend

Not the caption I had intended to make but I just couldn't get going on the other one. I'm going to blame being sick again. That's the hazard of my Day Job, you spend a LOT of time being sick.

Anyway, I guess this is a soft 'sequel' to Divine Intervention: Touchy-Feely and featuring another appearance of 'Tea (formerly known as the mythological figure Galatea) and her store.

The text is slightly smaller because this is one of my 'old style' templates, I think either pre-dating this Patreon page or being made shortly after I created it. History lesson, hooray!

Hope you all enjoy.

TEXT

"Wow 'dad'! You look hawt!" Kelsey giggled as the petite little redhead that had once been her father stared at herself in the store's large mirror, feminine mouth agape.

"W-what happened to me!?" The new girl gasped before a tiny hand clutched at her throat in surprise at how light and airy her voice had become.

The former man, Nate, had been a towering middle aged man just moments before, bored out of his mind and more than a bit embarrassed at having to be in the girly store. He was the only man there and if it hadn't been for his wife death-glaring him into spending some 'quality time' with his daughter Kelsey, the muscled, mustached and only slightly balding man would have not been anywhere NEAR it. This was...this was something his wife should have been doing!

Nate's reluctance to participate in the shopping experience with Kelsey had left his daughter upset. She had been excited about getting to shop at THE Enchante store with all of it's awesome clothes and it's famous mannequins! The seventeen year old had legitimately been looking forward to spending some time with her dad, who was otherwise too preoccupied with his contractor business or just spending time with his own friends instead of her. But dear old dad clearly didn't want to be here; his gruff and mostly monosyllabic repsonses to her questions and, of course, refusing to let her look at any of the super cute was making this trip, like, a pain!

"Ugh, dad! If you're not going to be any fun then maybe you should just, like, LEAVE or something! Gawd!" Kelsey had fumed, stamping a tiny sandaled foot on the store tile.

"Fine by me. Text me when you're ready to check out and I'll come check your bags. Remember, nothing skimpy! And all the tops have to have sleeves!" Nate grumbled as he turned towards the store's doors, eager to get out of there and get on his phone. Maybe he could catch the last part of the football game...

"You're no fun! I wish I'd come with a girl who LIKED modern fashion!" Kelsey said to his retreating back, hoping that maybe the snippy comment would get the big man to stay. But her dad simply kept marching towards the shop's doors. She blinked back a tear from the hurt she felt, missing the moment when everything changed.

Kelsey nor Nate had seen it, but Enchante's owner, a rather gorgeous woman named 'Tea, had nonchalantly pointed a figure at Nate moments after he turned around. A quick mutter of a foreign language, wiggle of said finger and a burst of purple light had completely shifted reality around. Instead of the towering, unhappy brute of a man was now a petite and cute teenage girl standing there in a sleeveless red top and jean shorts that were a little risque...As well as a look of total shock on the new girl's face as she slowly turned to face her former daughter...And see for herself in a nearby mirror what she had become.

"Have a good time, girls" 'Tea muttered with a smile. Maybe she'd change the old man back if he, now she, made her former daughter happy. Or maybe she'd leave him like this if HE seemed happier.

"I don't know, 'Nat', but it looks like you have a much better taste in fashion now!" Kelsey said with another giggle, taking out her phone to snap a few pictures of her dad. "Oh wow, looks like we're BFFs and we hang out ALL the time now!" The black haired girl shoved her phone in 'Natalie's' face, showing dozens of pictures of the two girls hanging out.

"Y-you wished this! change me back! I'm your dad not some little girl!" Nat demanded in a whiny voice, "...But I DO look good in this, don't I?" Maybe trying on a few outfits first wouldn't hurt...
