Hmm, I would at least have the courtesy to post a message that didn't contain the words "no disrespect" in the first four words. This is just my opinion of course, but I believe there are personal subjective issues at play in your post. As I personally find the story rather good so far, and think Fire is doing a sterling job.

2024-09-08 16:42:20 +0000 UTCFirst, no disrespect to Fire or his story, creativity or art, and It hurts to say this, but chapter 4 of Last Human was disappointing for me. The first scene in chapter 1 had me hooked, all the way thru the last part of chapter 3. Chapter 4 and the last part of chapter 3 felt somewhat rushed, and chapter 4 certainly so. I was really looking forward to Dezzy and Kalina bonding, especially Kalina, but for both the bonding was just a couple of quick pokes, little to no romance or an actual feeling of bonding. I say this as compared to Lexi and Nat's development in chapters 1 and 2, and the attention given to them, but not Dezzy and Kalina. I'll see what chapter 5 brings, but if more of the same, I'll not be following any longer. I was expecting more based on previous play. I did like the introduction of Echo and thought Blarg in his pink apron was hilarious and caught me by surprise. Sadly, that was the best parts of chapter 4 for me. Maybe if not doing 2 vn's at the same time would give more time for content. I've played couple of chapters of Serenity, also felt somewhat rushed, but the story was not really my thing, so have not played more. I would happily wait for Serenity to be completed first, and wait for Last Human so as to allow more time for character/romance/bonding content and not a feeling of hurry up stuff.
