GENIE'D! Chapter 2 "It's My First Day!" Page 1

Welcome to Chapter 2 of GENIE'D! Zara arrives at work and figures out a rather inventive solution to her little problem of granting every wish she hears!

TEXT

Panel 1

*Zara stares out the window of the newly improved car as the newly changed driver, now a very sexy blonde woman, blathers on about something inconsequential, entirely unaware that she used to be anyone else or that the handsome man in her backseat is actually a very busty blue-haired woman*

Zara *thinking*: 'Okay. Only a minor setback. I can still do this!'

Driver: "-And then I was, like, 'no way!' and she said-"

Zara *thinking*: 'Wow, that guy became such an airhead!'

Panel 2

*The car eventually makes it's way downtown and rolls to a smooth stop in front of a very tall skyscraper, Zara's workplace. The driver cranes her neck out of the new sports car's window for a moment, amazed by the sight before turning around and giving Zara another flirty look*

Driver: "Oh, we're here! That's, like, a TOTALLY nice building! You must have one of those fancy jobs! You're getting hotter by the minute!"

Zara *blushing*: "Um...right. Uh, thank you for the ride?"

Panel 3

*Zara quickly gets out of the car, the buxom blonde bombshell doing the same as Zara fishes the fare fee and a rather large tip out of her wallet*

Zara: "Here's a bit extra for doing a great job"

*The driver leans against the car and giggles as she accepts the money, tucking it down her cleavage*

Driver: "Oh...Handsome AND generous..."

Zara *thinking*: 'Mainly just to appease my guilt...'

Panel 4

*The driver, still not seeing through Zara's male-form illusion, leans against the car, putting her new assets fully on display for the genie woman*

Driver: "I wish you'd, like, ask me out. We'd TOTES have a good time..."

Zara: "Granted!"

*Zara suddenly feels a compulsion in her brain to make sure to ask the driver out*

Driver *Giggling*: "Teehee! You're funny. Here's my number!"

Zara *thinking*: 'Darn it! Oh well, at least I'll be able to keep in contact with her now...'

*Zara and the driver exchange information before parting ways, the driver blowing Zara a kiss before getting back into the sports car, miming a 'call me!' gesture before she pulls out into traffic and nearly causing another accident, leaving Zara on the sidewalk*

Panel 5

*Zara is, for the moment, isolated. But that moment is quickly closing as a large crowd of morning workers approach, arriving from subways, taxis, hired drivers, buses, there's hundreds, maybe even thousands of people all funneling into the office buildings of downtown. And all in Zara's way*

Zara: "Wow, what a minefield...How am I supposed to get through all those people without granting any wishes?"

*Zara thinks for a long moment before an idea pops into her blue-haired head*

Zara: "Wait, I have to hear the wish to grant it so..."

Panel 6

*Zara points at her head with a finger and channels her magic, and with a soft 'poof!' a pair of noise cancelling headphones appears on her head! The sounds of the early morning city fade away entirely to sweet silence. Zara smiles*

Zara: "Headphones! Perfect. Now, time to do this..."

*Zara marches towards her office building, a confident, determined look on her face as she wades through the crowd of people, appearing to the rest of the world as just another businessman on his way to work, wearing a pair of headphones*
