Serenity C2 Episode 3 (Devlog 9 - Patrons)

Hey everyone. I hope the weekend has been a good one! Just an update on where I am on the Serenity episode 3 update. In my last devlog, I said that I was working on scene 3. I am about to finish up that scene today. It's one of the longer scenes, so that's why it has taken this long to finish it. Outside of that, I've caught an upper respiratory infection. So, I've spent a lot of time sleeping, trying to get over this mess as well. Taking off from full-time job tomorrow and probably Tuesday to rest up and try to get well. I have an appointment tomorrow to see the doctor and get some antibiotics and probably a steroid shot too.

I still hope to have this thing ready by the middle of next month. I don't have a lot of animations in this episode because it is mostly base story to get through. Yes, of course there will be NSFW content (it's Serenity after all). But not as much 'sex' as usual. Fewer animations means slightly faster development for me (I mean, animations take a lot of time). Regardless... I think this episode opens doors towards some core story (plot stuff) and much needed character interaction. We're spending some time with Cammie near the beginning. The preview image here is straight from scene 3... Cammie has opened the way for us to visit the spirit plane in search of Fereldan so that we can talk to him about the dark light. MC is hoping to gain more solid information rather than trying to decipher those cryptic prophecies and riddles that Jasmine was so focused on in episode 2. Next in scene 4, we'll have a confrontation with Celeste (visiting character from Glacerose's game, Sylphine). It's a fun and comical scene that a lot of the other girls will be involved in as well.

Anyway, I think you guys will enjoy episode 3. We'll have the first real drama we've had in Serenity since chapter 1, and it will not be as easy or fast to deal with as before. Most of that doesn't start happening until episode 4. And we'll also finally get to see the 'Guardian' character I was originally going to reveal in episode 3 (but decided to rewrite because it was moving too fast). Sorry, I am on the borderline of spoiling so I'll stop there. Just wanted to give my patrons a bit more details on what to expect.
