Home from the War
Added 2023-03-02 03:23:11 +0000 UTCMade a quick pit stop at home after my surgery to get some things I needed for my hopefully brief stay elsewhere. No time to make a caption but I wanted to give you all something to round off this otherwise disappointing week. This is essentially going to act as the Friday upload, and hopefully I can get back in my house by the weekend and put up a regular caption for Monday. If not, it'll be more art stuff that I've commissioned from other Patreons.
This has a semi-completed story to it, and was, of course, done by TheXtra. But the part of the story that is completed has no TG content to it, so...I'm just gonna put the animation up.
The gist of it is that a tired soldier finally returns home from another pointless modern war and regrets his part in all of it and just wishes that he could find new purpose in the world and give something back after all he's taken from it. The result, thanks to a magical homeless person that may or may not be more than what they seem, is the soldier ends up regaining his lost youth and living a different life as a wonderful wife and mother-to-be as reality changes him into a her. It also gives her a brand new set of memories and freeing her from the nightmares of her former life.
It's one of those 'they remember enough of that they used to be someone different and miserable' so that she appreciates her new life that much more. And of course, no one else knows her as anyone but the woman she now is.
The Xtra and I also decided that Genie'd! will not be entirely Patreon exclusive, and that we will be uploading 1 comic page a month to our DeviantArt galleries, but that will still be plenty of exclusive content here for you guys months in advance.
