Compared to A Familiar Room, otherside's arrangement basically had itself written from the moment I first listened to the original, but it was still one I got to have a ton of fun with. In contrast to the careful choices made with A Familiar Room, this one I had as much fun with as I could. The original was in a way what I'd describe as 'hypnotic', which was a really important theme I wanted to depict in my arrangement as well.
Though admittedly I believe there wasn't as much room for thought or expression with this arrangement, it certainly seemed to strike a chord with the listeners. And I'm quite happy with that.
All in all, this collaboration was beyond a dream come true for pre-teen me begging my mom to buy me a beta copy of the game, and I'm very thankful for the opportunity.
I'm also relatively pleased with my deliveries despite my condition at the time and frankly since. I still have a few commissions in the works set to release relatively soon, I hope. Songs I've been trusted to write myself, and songs I can say I'm quite proud of too. So please hold still for a little while longer until I get back into my old routine.
I won't bother you with the nitty gritty, but successive releases at an absolutely unbelievable scale for someone like me has very clearly taken a bit of a toll, and frankly I've not had the faintest clue how to deal with it all. Nothing I've touched has sounded quite right in a while, and I'd rather not put out anything at all if that's the case, but I'm sure once things start sounding right again I'll be back to my usual shenanigans. Thank you for another month of support once again. See ya!
