Sticker shock! - 1st pass at the budget
Added 2025-04-19 04:19:16 +0000 UTCHey folks,
Our wonderful producer Ashim has been working hard, figuring out the schedule and the first pass at a budget. We filmed him walking us through it. We tried to keep as much of the conversation as possibleβwe only removed parts where we discussed specific peopleβs rates, for obvious privacy reasons.
This is just the beginning of the budgeting process. Now we at least have an optimistic baseline, assuming we get some financing to supplement the gap between what we can put towards the film and the final budget. Freddie and I are close to having a cut of the Traincar sequence so we can begin VFX and SFX. Weβll have much more to show next week.
And weβre getting closer to the start of constructionβthings will begin to move fast!
Onwards and upwards. And as always, if you have any questions about the video or the budget, ask in the comments or on Discord and weβll answer to the best of our ability.
