Defected and went radical, that being said you can make a case the other extremists were A rank level. 2. I believe theres s chapter in the Manga where it goes into more detail about the "Goddess" thing. Explains yusuke calling keiko his goddess and how he picked blue button for her favorite color. Chosing her in his last possible moments or something cheesy like that
