First Time Kayaking Camping Trip! | Ottawa Valley ๐จ๐ฆ

First, it feels SO good to post a travel vlog!
It's been a hot minute since I have had to stay a little more local in the Montreal area due to my family health issues, and also not being able to move around because of summer work at the auberge!
I am a nomad at heart, and (for now anyways) my happy places are when I am in an airport believe it or not ๐ and being able to move around, or else I get VERY antsy! Any of you like that?
So here is a little recap of my very first kayaking camping trip! ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ
I'm pretty adventurous... But I'm not gonna lie I was a little nervous knowing we had to kayak to the island and so if something happened...We'd be stranded!
But I was going with very experienced outdoorsy people so it worked out well, I was well taken care of ๐
We went to Renfrew County, in the Ottawa Valley, Lake Clear.
It was beautiful!!!The water was incredibly clear.
And that little solo-skinny dip I did was so beyond refreshing. ๐
Alright,I am posting this from the hospital. Got a bunch of pre-op appointments with my mom.

Thanks Ryan! I appreciate it so much. There are so many beautiful spots to camp in Ontario! So you slept in your car because of the mosquitos???

I have slept in a travel trailer before in a camping resort/trailer park and in the back of my wheelchair accessible vehicle but never actually outside before. I wouldn't mind trying it because last time I got trapped in my vehicle with mosquitoes. lol Anyways, thanks for the fun video and my thoughts continue to be with you and your family during this challenging time. Positive vibes for a speedy recovery.
