9 out of 10 times the English dub is better if your first language is English, the jokes are better and the cringe is less cringe, I love dub reactions

Oh I hope you didn't take it the wrong way, so far it had always been great, only this episode felt weird. Again, maybe just a greasy lens (with the phone happens to me all the time) This was not meant as complaint, just as feedback to help out

my videos have always fluctuated in quality. a better camera is an investment that'll have to wait as it is very expensive.

i use my phone to record. It's never been great quality, it depends on the lighting and how much daylight is available. Lighting impacts it a lot. i have external lighting and it is still not enough.

Is it me or the quality of the video is slightly lower? It feels less crisp than the other episodes, like there is a very subtle white filter on it? Maybe you are slightly over exposed or the lens is slightly dirty? Can't really point it out

I double checked and I guess the connection is never explicitly made, but I always liked to think that in the unlikely event Toriyama ever did a second draft of anything perhaps Nam could be from the same village as Uub

Agreed. The voice acting is really good. A great example of this is when the gang thought Goku was dead, I wouldn't have felt the emotional impact of the voice acting if I was reading the subtitles. For me it breaks the immersion in the scene.

The dub for Dragonball is better than the sub. First of all they make a lot of the cringe stuff far less cringey and the voices are excellent. Thank you for doing dub

Totally understand loving the sub, but you can't deny that some dubs are just done so well and in some cases do outdo the sub. There are other reasons one might prefer the sub than just the voice acting, but ultimately some dubs are done with so much justice I don't see how you could be mad either way. The Dragon Ball franchise is one of those that just nails the dub perfectly. Naruto is another. I think JoJo's dub gets a lot of disrespect but is also really well done. I also think Death Note's dub was undeniably good, Light's voice and L's voice actors were insanely good. I enjoy both sub and dub depending.

Never seen from here on myself. That "gum" was the same stuff Giran spit at Goku in the tournament and he physically broke out of it, Also with you on the dub. The DB franchise is one of maybe 4 shows I can't stand in Japanese, and I typically prefer sub.
