How to use your microphone / line-in with MilkDrop3 :)
Added 2024-02-13 00:26:25 +0000 UTC1. Download and extract https://vb-audio.com/Cable/ > VBCABLE_Driver_Pack43.zip
2. Right click on VBCABLE_Setup_x64.exe (or VBCABLE_Setup.exe if you have an older 32 bits Windows) then select "Run as administrator"
3. Click on "Install Driver" and reboot your computer
4. Open the playback devices audio window (or launch with run: mmsys.cpl)
5. Click on the Recording tab
6. Right click on the microphone you want to use > Set as default device
7. Right click again on the microphone > Properties
8. Click on the "Listen" tab
9. Tick the box "Listen to this device"
10. Select in the drop-down menu the virtual audio cable and click on "Apply"
11. Restart MilkDrop3, it should be listening to the microphone or select the virtual audio cable in the "Audio" menu if it's not!
PS: make sure the microphone is not over 48khz in your general audio menu!
