July Update
Added 2020-07-12 08:14:53 +0000 UTCQuick update on my content plans for this month. I want to try and explore different ideas this month. I have a double feature coming in a couple days, it will feature two new models. After that I was thinking of trying my hand at a tattooed girl. If you all have any ideas you'd like to see, feel free to message me

I have a few plans for normal maps. I want to do the skinny ribs morph and normal maps combo that can applied to all looks. I've been working on feet normal maps for a while now, admittedly with not much success. I don't own R3DS but it looks interesting, I'm not sure I would feel comfortable using other peoples textures in my work though

I know Daz and VaM are heavily morphs oriented but I am coming from another community which used a lot normal maps for such details so I know it's possible. If you know how to use R3DS or similar for skin wrapping, I can share with you my skin library from the other software - they are free In the same area, having thin veins details on arms, hands, feet and breasts would be nice

2020-07-16 09:21:18 +0000 UTCYeah freckles are super tricky to get right for me. Blemishes and more " lived human experiences" as you called it is something I'd like to improve upon. A lot of times I just have to abandoned certain things to get the models and textures out in a timely manner

2020-07-15 20:42:03 +0000 UTCFreckles are soooo difficult! I made freckle decals a few months back (for a redhead LOL) and aside from the colour and intensity variances that are on the real things, getting the sizes to look natural on the body textures was an absolute nightmare! Since then, I have done mainly tattooed girls (Current model uses a modified version of Simone) so I'd be more than happy with freckles and tattoos! I also add 'signs of lived human experiences' - such as scars, scratches, zits, and other blemishes. I probably went a bit over the top with one variant who has faded self-harm scars - using Photoshop brushes in GIMP.

2020-07-14 10:49:58 +0000 UTCI suppose you're right, freckles catered to one skin would have more control than a universal "one size fits all". I think the bigger issue is that VAM does not support color changes between diffuse and decal. If you are open to requests, I'd love to see a freckly redhead, emphasis on the neck and shoulders and not just the face. Perhaps you could try different opacity versions of the freckles. At that rate, you could also develop an easy brush to make freckles, then include it with all skins sort of like it's own makeup. That's asking a lot more of you, but would certainly be unique.

2020-07-13 11:03:37 +0000 UTCI have messed around with creating freckles in the past, I even tried making my own photoshop brushes. Ultimately I feel like it's better to project some real skin as freckles instead of painting them or using a decal. With that said I can try and create a decal, what did you have in mind? face or a full body decal?
