i take Levothyroxine and it has helped me for several years for my thyroid issues. I no longer have the mood swings, sleep issues, fatigue or the constant hunger problems that i was having. I have had hypo and hyper.... i am 55 years old and when i run out and forget to refill and cannot get to the doctor on time to get my blood tests done then the symptoms do come back but as long as i take my medication everyday.. I am normal as a person can be. I hope this helps as well. Have A Blessed Day. Oh and I just love love love your work!!!

Rimings, I hope you see this as I'm not a subscriber (yet) and can't post a message to any of your early access posts, but I saw what you said about hypothyroidism and the medication problems you're having. I have hypothyroidism, too. Sythroid (or any other synthetic thyroid medication) is garbage. It doesn't work. The best medication I've found, and it works for millions of people, is anything made from pig thyroids. Armor Thyroid used to be the best but they changed the formulaโ€”they added celluloseโ€”and ruined it and a lot of people got sick, as a result. NP Thyroid is what I use now. It's the same formula as the old Armor Thyroid before Armor was ruined, and by that I mean that NP Thyroid does not contain cellulose. You can't absorb the medication when it's all bound up in cellulose. What's great about thyroid medication made from pig thyroids is that it contains both T3 AND T4 which are all the hormones your body needs. Synthroid contains only T4 and the idea is that your body will convert the T4 to T3 but not everyone's body can do this. That's why Synthroid is so terrible. It took me a long time to get my hypothyroidism under control. I understand how difficult it can be. You're just exhausted. It's hard to do anything. There were times I was too tired to hold my head up! All that changed when I switched to NP Thyroid. Hang in there. It'll get better. It does take some time for the medicine to work, unfortunately, but if you're taking synthetic thyroid and two or three months have passed and you're not getting better you should try a medication made from pig thyroids. You'll feel so much better. Oh, and when you get a blood test ask your doctor to test your free T3 levels and not just your TSH. TSH is a pituitary hormone. Free T3 is the hormone that your body actually uses that's available in your bloodstream. It's a much better indication of what's happening in your body. Sorry this message is so long. Just had to share what I've learned.
