Naxos Hotel Ruins
Added 2024-02-14 11:10:50 +0000 UTCI promised this set a while ago ๐. These old ruins were in the most ideallic location which we accessed via the quad bike we had.
As I may have said in the preview post, I'd forgotten my camera card so these had to be shot on a phone, but I like them anyway.

The addition of the right amount of grain in highlights, midtones and shadows helps them look more โrealโ.

2024-02-14 11:55:32 +0000 UTCCheers Ingo ๐ yea phones are usually disregarded as โnot real camerasโ but I doubt thereโs much difference - itโs all digital anyway. You can โfeelโ the difference in the files when you edit them though, they donโt have anywhere near the latitude of a โproperโ camera and require more careful editing. Hope you guys are well?

2024-02-14 11:53:30 +0000 UTCWow. Most of these shots don't say "taken-on-a-phone" at all. Especially the landscape one of Aurora in front of the stairs looks very "real" for me --- I really like your editing on this whole series.
