Hello again!

The later half of September got pretty hectic for me, resulting in the lack of a dev log that should have been there, as well as a day or two of delay to release this update.

All water under the bridge now, because the new version is finally here to close off another 1 month dev-cycle. It features the first of the 4 winners from the last character poll: the Kobold Queen! This one ended up having a host of different themes, including some niche ones like transformation, lactation, pregnancy and birthing. Based on reactions from some beta testing, this one might become a fan favorite! (if the tags appeal to your preferences of course hehehe)

The other feature of this small update is that the game now properly supports gamepads. In the input configuration options players can switch between the available input modes, and now the game reads inputs from 2 types of controllers for all actions in the game, including UI navigation.

With that said, honestly it is quite a basic implementation, because long story short, the current version of Unity that I'm using is quite finicky when it comes to decent gamepad support. So I'd really appreciate if those who prefer to play games with a controller could test out these controls and give me some feedback on the overall experience, and areas where it could be improved etc.

Alright, now back into the grind I go. Truth is that I tried to sneak in a new bad end in this update (a different one from the 4 winners) but like I mentioned, things got too busy, and implementing the gamepad support (which I was going to leave for much later in development) took essentially half of the month, so there was not enough time left to meet my current goal of 1 release per month.

But now it's a fresh start to another dev cycle and there are more good and fun things to do, which I hope to tease in upcoming dev logs! See you soon!

Indeed, it's a nasty bug that got past my testing. It will be fixed in the next version!

Ah I see it now, I tried a fresh file and indeed the power-ups are bugged. They appear to me in the dev editor, but not when I do a fresh run on the game's compiled executable. Thank you very much for the report, I'll find this bug and fix it for the next version!

Yeah, I am not finding any of the power-ups either.

At the beginning of the game on the beach there are 3 Power Ups: Health up, Damage up and Defense up. but now all gone
