What's next? - Content for v0.16 of Taboo Titans

Hi guys! Now that v0.15 is finally out, we can start talking about our plans for the future. Let's talk specifically about the structure of the game. Feel free to skip this if you don't really care about the nitty-gritty since the poll options are pretty easy to understand. 

Each girl has a main quest and three routes. You can think of the three routes as interludes between pieces of the main quest. So the first time you talk to a girl, you have to complete the first act of her main quest to get access to her three routes. Then, in order to progress to the next part of her main quest, you have to complete at least two of those route questlines.

For example, for Raven, you complete the first act of her main quest which is the quest Coffee and Care, and then you start working on at least two of her three routes. One of these routes was released yesterday, her Affection route. Once you've completed at least two of those, you can complete the second act of her main quest. After that, there will be another interlude with questlines where you work on completing at least two of them before getting access to act three. Act three will be the final part of her story.

There is also a central main quest that involves all of the girls and a few other side characters, which will reflect the choices you make in each of the girls' individual routes. There's definitely going to be a lot of "content" in this route too, so don't feel like this is a waste of your vote.

So updates can come in different shapes and sizes. An update where we work on a girl's main quest will generally be smaller but can have a lot of writing, and an update where we work on one of her three routes will involve plenty of writing and plenty of art.

So now we come to the vote. In order to avoid getting burned out on a single girl, we've decided that we won't work on the same girl's content two updates in a row. This means we will be leaving Raven's name off the list. We've got a ton of great ideas for the other girls and we can't wait to start working on them!

The last thing I want to mention before you vote is the "Developer's Choice" option. This lets us work on whichever content we're most excited about or we have the best ideas for. I think this option, in general, will let us make the best version of each update. It's better for us to work on something when the idea is fresh so that it's more exciting to work on it. BUT, you won't know what's in the update until it's out.

And as always, keep in mind that higher tier Patrons' votes are more POWERFUL and will be weighted properly when the results are announced.
