Turn the Fate #22

Here we are with the new chapter of Turn the Fate. You decided to go down into the crypt with Solaine and Vance, and examine the ancient statue at the bottom of the stairs... Let’s continue playing!

GAME MASTER - An ancient statue represents a female figure engaged in an unusual dance with what appear to be phallus-shaped tentacles.
You don't hold back a chuckle…
VANCE - This ambiguous Goddess has questionable values, but she knew how to have a great time!
SOLAINE - This is Sauni, and she's not enjoying herself… or at least not in the way you mean it. It is a representation of an event from the Age of Awakening ... are you sure you are a Paladin? Don't they make you study the history of the Gods?
GAME MASTER - embarrassment makes your cheeks a little purple, but before you have time to resent, Solaine continues:
SOLAINE - Fengwyn, cupbearer of Azri God of Abomination, spied on Sauni in her nocturnal dances, and fell in love with her. He thus began to flee at night from the Azri’s Howling Stronghold to look at her and sigh for her every night.
Azri, the Grimy noticed it and on the suggestion of his brother Nidamran, Lord of deceptions, instead of punishing him he called Fengwynn forgave him, traced a blessing on his forehead and pushed him to go to Sauni to declare his love to her ... Of course it was a diabolical deception, and it was not a blessing, but a powerful curse: Once he came to Sauni to join her dances, Fengwyn's flesh and blood, filled with passion, mingled with Azri’s curse… and the cupbearer become depraved, and its form changed into a monstrous creature that attempted to overwhelm the Goddess of Love.
But Sauni is powerful… very powerful: some say that Fengwyn paid with his life the foul game of the Dark Gods ... according to others, Sauni found a way to bring him back to his real form thanks to a mighty spell and the Ring of Humaran.
