Comments

I didn't like Tyler new album but this album fire but sticky make me want to fight somebody it makes me think of high school

DJ Tim space King

This should def be a new little they do for the fourth qtr part of the year 💯

Jay Cross

REACT TO CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST!!!!

V

did y'all ever listen to call me if you get lost? if not that would still be a GREAT reaction

Michael Salone

I liked the concept of Judge Judy it was definitely unexpected & left me feeling lowkey sad at the end. I was a film student too btw lmfao so I get what you mean by the ending feels film student ish but idk I guess I’m easy to please haha

princesspebble

Terrance was higher than cloud9 in this one eyes low & red than a mug🤣🤣

Journey

damn idk if i’m jus smooth brained but the “stay strapped up before they fuck around and strap u” is a double entendre to the paranoia he’s feeling so keep urself “strapped” with a gun in case she sets u up and also the obvious meaning of wearing a condom. i was thinking abt pnb rock dying recently and maybe it’s another meaning lol

lal

its time for tyler to score movies

Trim Jim

Nahhh the breakdown of the escape route bar at 37:30 was tough, I dead wasn’t paying attention to this song at all

Jp

to me, judge judy was a song about sexual freedom and exploration and how in even small moments of acceptance and allowing people to be open with who they are without judgement - you can create a lasting and beautiful memory for them. i get that it's not for everyone, but i thought it was special

Muna

With how often people claim certain albums are RAOTY, they should do a pod or video where they go back through all of their top picks and decide which one should get it. Because people are comparing this album to much lesser bodies of work and it’s just crazy

Scotty

this album get better every listen for me

Scott Stevo

THIS! I genuinely think they would love it

Alien Gen👽🪐✨🛸

This album is literally great. I do think yall should listen to the full Doechii mixtape. I know yall said yall listened to the first 3 but I’m ngl easily one of the best projects out this year. Especially from the girls! It’s funny how it’s a mixtape but it felt like an album

Alien Gen👽🪐✨🛸

You fried af boy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Marcus 9

I wish he put carti verse on “TIWD”

Bryson

they’d love it immediately

Jonathan Morris

Dasmin

Sooooo happy yall loved it like I did!!

Kobi Godfrey

Same! I love both albums. NO SKIPS for both!

KPLOVELY

Loved the review! This is easily my favorite album of the year, it's not even close. This man came out of nowhere and snatched AOTY!! My city up all year! Roddy pending too?! Best year in hip-hop in quite a while!

KPLOVELY

Might be AOTY for me, it’s fighting with Blue Lips.

Joey Billiams

Loved the breakdown of I Killed You and Tomorrow. Also loved that guys didn’t cut as much

Alec

Great reaction by the Bros 🫡

Alec

Masterpiece

Gup

Darling I, is that song I go back to. Sonically it feels good, and his messaging is deep. But overall, it was a great album, and I loved this reaction video.

Zhariah Maxwell

Steve Lacy played the guitar on Judge Judy

Marvin Amankwa-Dei

Hey Jane has mr morale vibes

Marvin Amankwa-Dei

A Kendrick and Frank feature would have made this album even more incredible. I wasn’t a Tyler fan but now I am.

Elbin Alomar

Great reaction, great catches. Don't know if IDK is on your radar, but his latest project is well executed. Reminds me of a young kanye

ShoryuSengan

My album of the year!

Ricky Jenkins

This is my album of the year. Tyler on a generational run.

Daquan

Love yall for reacting to this! Can yall PLEASE react to Doechii-alligator bites never heal.

Mary Cannon

jaaden

"Noid"

Jeremiah Ivey

Please review Freddie’s new album. It’s AOTY fs

Tony Two

This intro 🔥🔥

J60rdan

Looks like Dad duties got Terrance in a trance

ryan roggenbuck

i think the coincidence of a lot of rap albums having similar stories and dropping back to back just shows how that 2010s class is now growing up and sharing similar experiences in life

CLUBFM

Tyler said that he was inspired by Mr morale

rUff lUv

I love the Mallory Bros and understand why they think the message of the album might be overplayed but I don't think they see that within this current parasocial world, a majority of musicians might connect the most to listeners when sentiment and honesty are shared. Famous artists and civilians don't live alike and when they find common ground in both the luck in their life and faults, it becomes less about details and more about the foundation of what makes somebody a person and who they are. The balance with flourishing and sinking is wide, but it can stay with many people because it's such a vague concept thus making a simple concept like "bad is bad and good is good" much more meaningful and deeper than the surface of what was heard. Again, prolly overthinking lol

Angel Soriano

My moms from Zambia, that part in Noid is spoken in the language Nyanja from our country 🇿🇲

Leah Batts

I think it was more about the big dick part lmao

Earnest Williams II

LMAO the fact that they accidentally titled the last song "NOID" on the title card or whatever, ironically loops the cycle of emotions that Tyler felt throughout this album the same way "IGOR" did. Instead of ending on the hopeful note "I Hope You Find Your Way Home" it mirrors the structure of "IGOR" where he ends the album in a way that sets the cycle of love and heartbreak back into an endless loop when you replay the album. I'm definitely looking into it too much but just a fun and coincidental detail. Also this album has no skips and I can't wait to talk about it in depth.

Angel Soriano

i thought it cool as hell how two men with a loving father that was always there didn’t understand why or what his mom would be saying that to him for in like him, it’s crazy to see the sides of the coin

jaaden

I think the point of Judge Judy is she didn’t start finding and doing the stuff she actually enjoyed until she knew she was sick and found tyler who didn’t judge her but the meaning i got from that is to find and do what u like while you’re still alive and healthy

Deuntrae Booker

I caught the same shit Terrance was talkin bout on Tomorrow. I woulda went crazy if Baby Keem, YG, Kendrick or Remble woulda popped up on there.

Adrian Wilson

One thing Terrell wants to make sure we know is that he’s not a Tyler fan 😭 got it

Ashley W

Btw , Great reaction fellas.

CliffyB

Tyler got another one , he produces great albums , especially when flower popped he’s been on a roll ever since. AOTY

CliffyB

That “I Killed You” catch is crazy

LessJosh

A long time Tyler fan here trying to figure out why this album isn’t crossing the threshold for me and it’s exactly what Terrance said at the end of the reaction - that every recent hip hop album has had the same story and themes. The stories need to be told but I think these albums dropping so close in proximity while also being the biggest albums have created some listening fatigue. Loved the reaction!

D'shawn Schwartz

CAN WE ALSO GET THE WORLDWIDE STEPPERS BREAKDOWN‼️🗣️

Anad

lol it’s not about Drake at all. He literally ends the 1st verse with saying the person he’s talking about is facing 5-10 years in prison

Second Entity

I don’t really listen to Tyler but that sticky song is insane I’m here for that song and the bros

Jacobi

That beat change on getting Sticky Is Young Buck’s song Get Buck

Fabian Davis

Yall did amazing

Yung JO

This is one of my favorite reviews by yall, been watching since the basement. Love how yall really dived in + i wish there was more music dropping that pulled this part of yall out. Great content yall boys!

a pac contribution.

AOTY fasho

Aziz

judge Judy was about a girl he liked that had cancer.

Imani Hall

this album 100% fits the sit down scene go watch the mr morale one then standing for that would’ve seemed weird

berto

sadly no

berto

Nah I don’t think so, but they’ve talked about the album before, I think around the time it won its Grammys on the pod

Gabe

judge judy is definitely a prince inspired track raspberry beret/darling nikki vibes forshure. the ending was her expressing that she didn’t fully live without fear of judgement until she was diagnosed; and thanking tyler for being the one she got to fully express herself with without any inhibitions.

steezo jckson

that catch about tyler being like an angry drill instructor is crazy good, amazing work as always bros

Shapex Business

did they ever do a reaction to call me if you get lost?

Michael Salone

That was definitely frank ocean

BruceWayneLiukang314

Great reaction fellas

Luke

I KILLED YOU & BALLOON GOES CRAZY FOR ME 🤦🏾‍♂️🔥🔥🔥

JaKar

Great video fellas 🔥👏🏽

JaKar

I gotta check this out

Chris

Being hypercritical about darling I he being very honest with himself whether you don’t like it or not he telling you in the album all the shit goin on that would have you think damn I can see why one would be like this

Mike Moore

yall cannot sit down when reacting its just NOT the same 😭😭 love the vids nonetheless

Cayla Dunaway-Sims

THANK YALL FOR NOT CUTTING AS MUCH! HEAVILY APPRECIATED

your microphone placement is horrible, its so much better when you stand up. Love the comments though, yall are the best!

Cookie Joe

Loving this quality and color on the vid 🔥 love yall goats

Camden Archbell

Fire edit 🔥

dejcal

After listening to Like Him, go back and listen to Answer on Wolf. It's honestly disturbing to listen to after hearing Like Him.

Christian

For a minute I thought they wasn't going to react to it!

Aaron DePass

As far the song the song named “like him” this almost like a sequel to tylers song called “answer” dropped back in 2013 I think yall should go check that out and come back to that song

Jordan Griffin

This is a classic album. Great rapping, lyricism, concepts, production, Arranged,Written, and Produced all by that one man! Tyler got him another one w this one!

Isaiah Lovelace

Love y’all man.

Daaimah

I killed you ,balloons ,and Rah tah tah prolly my top 3 take your mask off and like him honorable mentions

G4BBN 1

Fire reaction the way yall catch shit is wild. I feel like I see alot of ye influences throughout the whole album. “Tomorrow” to me sounds almost like Tyler’s version of “Welcome to Heartbreak”

Will

was waiting for this 🔥🔥

Matt F

The soul crushing thing about the ending of "Like Him", was that if you listen to Tyler's music...even since his EARLY music, Tyler has always talked about his mixed hatred/desire to know his father. His first album was literally titled "Bastard". But up until that conversation with his mom that we hear, he was under the impression that his father didn't want to know him or be in his life. So to hear from his mom, who he was raised by, known all his life, that his father actually did want to be in his life, and basically that his mom was the one who denied him access and that father/son bond is completely soul crushing but also refreshing. It's something I can relate to as well, I have a similar story with my father. I'm just glad his mother didn't take that to the grave, because some women will do that. I reconnected with my father after nearly 20 years last year and I was 23. Tyler is in his 30's now, I could not imagine having waited that long to get that closure. That also is probably why Tyler has the stance he does on having kids that we hear in this album. lol sorry I'm off my soapbox now.

Kaleb Whitlock

Crazy tomorrow ending with the Tyler westcoast flow going to thought I was dead where it’s hella westcoast crash out vibes

In-House Comedy

‘Your mother said that about you” i died laughing.

Simbarashe

hope y'all dont pass on a gibbs reaction, up there with tyler for AOTY, quality

David Abraham

Album is truly special 🎥🎥

Bcxvo

Thought we were getting the first spin from a sitting review lowkeyyyyy

Tyson Poshtar

Seeing yall catch on to the black hair concept on “I Killed You” made me so happy because soooo many reactors missed the whole point of that song. I was waiting for someone to catch on because his message about is important and beautifully explained

Niya James

We were robbed of the Terrance spin around, but it’s coo😭😂9️⃣

MisunderstoodZ

Been waiting for this joint! This is definitely AOTY potential. Darling, I to Hey, Jane is a fantastic sequence. Hey Jane is my favorite Tyler song ever the beat is like Tyler take on a Pharrell beat and the storytelling is perfect. Dope video fellas! 9️⃣

JRome

Knowing the way Tyler has talked about his dad in the past, I KNOW finding out that his dad actually wanted to be there was heartbreaking for him

Ro Renea

there’s a track right before like him on the vinyl version called “mother” it kind of gives u that verse u were looking for after like him

Andrew Bandgren

I know right! I was hoping they had the genius breakdowns pulled up while they were listening, but I guess they didn't. Usually they catch stuff like that.

Kaleb Whitlock

Finally 🙄😅🫶🏾

Its_Kenny_Blue

Shit been out for a week bro😂

Stizz

Just got to I killed you yea put this one YouTube this one specifically

In-House Comedy

Tyler’s going to have an amazing introduction to the show with that intro track

E

The Pharrell influence is screaming through the album

Kino

“If you was gon apologize why you shoot for” J Cole shot👀?

Kino

The ENTIRE last verse is about Tyler in 'Take Your Mask Off', not just that one section. That’s why his mom says “keep it 100 with YOU”, because he’s finna go in on himself

Ro Renea

The catch on the west coast flow on tomorrow is so dopeeee

Tyson Poshtar

Startin it off with hot wind blows 🔥🔥🔥. Wayne verse goes dumb

Jeiel

They Tupac flow reference I didn’t even realize Tyler went crazy on darling I

In-House Comedy

These vids are always so high level in terms of production! Keep up the good works y’all.

Jonathan Villanueva

I feel like the judge Judy ending of the song where she wrote him a letter thanking him not because he didn’t judge her, but because he made her realize damn I’m not living my life right and that’s where she’s thanking him for not judging her but now looking back at herself like damn what was I doing

Arlexen

Nooo they missed the drake and Ye subs on take your mask off. 1st verse I took as he was talking to Drake. And the 3rd was towards ye.

NoeltheGR8

Judge Judy is supposedly a real story of a woman Tyler met and was getting with, who then developed cancer and passed away. The first two verses are him describing them meeting and their intimate moments, followed by a long break of silence (to represent the time they didn’t speak to each other) and then the final verse is a note to Tyler she wrote before her death thanking him for their experiences and for not judging her. It is a heartfelt and sad track in my opinion.

Carlos Casanova

Please react to west side Gunn and Freddie Gibbs

Kenzo

What i got from Judge Judy is he met somebody with alot of the same nature as him. He goes on to say in the song how much he vibed with her and how their "frequencies matched" Then he figures out her life was cut short due to an illness she knew about when they met, and his parting message to him is that she "wasn’t living life right until they told her what she had left" and she hopes that her story will inspire T to "live life as your fullest self with no regrets" As Tyler embraces his carefree boundless nature in the beginning of the LP, i feel this song serves as one of the few turning points in the album where he starts to view life differently, and with more intention. Love y’all 9️⃣

van alonzo

Most of Tyler's songs are just so sonically pleasing bruh it's crazy. He's a lot like Pharrell when it comes to just knowing how to tickle the ear in the right place with his music. And then pair that with his visuals? Legend
