Since kaneki was tortured by Jason they wanted to recreate the same conditions. They used rizeβs kakuho to turn kaneki thatβs why he has her kagune and they used Mr.Yoshimuraβs (coffee shop owner, etoβs dad) kakuho to turn takizawa, thatβs why his kagune/powers are similar. Amon has been watching all this time, he is one of the failed experiments and canβt use a kagune. This raid is happening at the same time as arima v kaneki, itβs not a time skip
