discontinuing
Added 2022-09-18 23:32:14 +0000 UTChey everyone, I have some news about this patreon - although it hasn't been up for long, I feel like I need to discontinue it and focus primarily on my sfw art. there's two reasons for this:
-I'm an openly spiritual person, which has always been the focus of my art and my favorite subject to explore. when I make nsfw for money it feels like I'm not honoring myself or my ideals, and I'm choosing money instead. I don't mind that other people want to create or engage with nsfw but for me personally, I want 100% of my art to be mentally, emotionally and spiritually beneficial. sometimes this includes me making spiritual sexual pieces (tantra) but it wouldn't be enough to justify monthly charges.
-I'm less interested in making nsfw in general as I'm getting older and I want to prioritize other projects while I still have the time and physical ability. I spent a lot of the last decade creating nsfw for a toxic relationship and honestly it's permanently affected my interest in making any more, even though I've tried to start up my twitter and this patreon a few times. I don't think it's fair to myself or to patrons to be forcing myself to make art that I don't want to do anymore.
I know this will be an unpopular decision, because this patreon filled up quickly with almost half as many people as my sfw one, but I truly need to focus on myself and make some changes. I'll still be finishing this month's art and comic, but I'll close the patreon a few days before the end of the month so that you won't be charged for another month. thank you for reading, and I hope that you can still enjoy my other art!
