yo you! :) I've been taking some time over the past week or so to edit stuff. Edit my portfolio, edit my website, my online shop (which I've transferred to Shopify from BigCartel)...

I've also (finally) started working on a new Podcast.

Website

I've been adding new work and editing my portfolio on my main website. I'm still working on it you can go take a look at: therealbenhopper.com.

Shop

I recently switched my shop to Shopify from BigCartel. I now pay a lil extra ($30 instead of $10 per month) but I did it for one main reason; Shopify can connect to creativehub, where I can offer c-type and giclee prints for less money and with easier logistics. creativehub grab the order from Shopify, print & ship it anywhere around the world for £6(!). For the first time I'll be able to offer an unlimited number artworks for less money. I'm probably going to start with with A4 & A3 sizes at the price range of £20-80. Not sure exactly how much but it'll be something very accessible. In addition, I will still offer my limited edition numbered & signed prints, but those will receive a slight price hike (which means now is the time to grab one from the stuff that's on the shop rn. I also have 2 T-Shirts available on there). I'll be enrolling the shop stuff in the coming weeks so keep your eyes out for that one: shop.therealbenhopper.com

New Podcast

Over the past few years I’ve been listening & watching days’ worth of podcasts. Like many, I’ve found this world fascinating and enriching.

I came to believe some of the conversations I’m having w my best friends could work well in that structure. I may be wrong but I’m going to give it a go.

My new podcast will be a place where I can have casual chats with some of my closest dearest friends. We’re going to talk about art, culture, sex, the human condition, politics, anxiety, inspiration, social media ...you know, the regular shit - just from my own little angle.

Some of the people I’ll be having on for starters: Reeps One, Josh Whitehouse, Nicholas Megalis, Delphine Noiztoy, Rafe Offer (co-founder of Sofar Sounds) and Barnaby Steel & Ersin Han Ersin (from the Marshmallow Laser Feast).

I’m still trying to come up with a name for the podcast. These are the 3 main ideas / concepts that came up. I’d love to have your feedback on them...you can of course add words to each one, for instance, “Portraits with Ben Hopper”:
