After years of receiving about 50 emails per day, desperately asking me to photograph more male-nudes, I decided to dedicate today's post to men.
Unfortunately, due to natural circumstances beyond my control, some of the images have the characteristic of an infamous phenomenon some of us refer to as Shrinkage.
As a member of the Coalition of Men, I'd like to represent my brother dudes with the magnitude they deserve. I beg your pardon and hope you can understand, and imagine some of these images as if they were taken in a (much) warmer climate.
Captions:
1 + 2: Taken in the small French village Auch, an hour from Toulouse. The gentlemen in the image are (from left to right): Julien, Anicet and Gabriel. It was taken on October 20, 2014.
3: The image below features my good friend Richard wearing a Ram mask he purchased from The Royal Ballet in some special sale. He's standing on the roof of Rockwell House, a building in Shoreditch (London) which is no more. That building was run by my buddies Jim Vision and his wife Matilda. Jim is a street artist and the building was home to several graphic artist studios. The roof held functions, events and parties. It was demolished just days after this photoshoot to be replaced by residential flats.
It was taken on (the very cold) January 30, 2015.
4: I met Wai at Burning Man 2016. He ended up doing his first full nude aerial straps act at my camp, Red Nose District. Shortly after the performance, I asked him if he'd mind having me photographing him naked, wearing our friend Tim's mask in the kitchen area at our camp. Wai agreed. To his account I'd say, he's one of the nicest dudes. Such a lovely vibe around him. Thank you Wai! Taken on a very cold night in the Nevada desert, during Burning Man festival, September 2, 2016.
5 +6: I've known A for many years. Mainly through the dress-up party scene in London. Here he is, posing with a mask he made, standing on Paula Haughney's 'Nature's Throne' sculpture at the Middlesex Filter Beds Nature Reserve, Hackney, London. These images were taken on July 6, 2015.
I hope you enjoy these images. Thank you for your support again! :) More to come in a few days. I am still trying to figure out the distribution method with Patreon. As you may have noticed, I'm posting these images on my FB & IG. I'm trying to get some attention and build up the community here on Patreon. If you have any ideas or any comments please feel free to let me know... Yours, Ben x
