"Disarm" Combat Move Preview

NOTICE: Before I get into this post, I just wanted to let you know that I'm right in the pathway of Cyclone Alfred(Category 2). I live high up enough to avoid any flooding & don't have anything that can fall on the property so hopefully all that will happen to me is some power outages. All my data is also backed up. So I'm expecting everything to go smoothly, but I wanted to let you know just in case I'm offline & unresponsive for a couple of days. I should be very safe, but I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Hello Survivors & Special Forces members, 

Just wanted to share a quick look at some renders for a new "Disarm" move I'm adding to Tiffany's combat options in BETA #5. Much like "Self-Strip", this is another way that Tiffany will be able to voluntarily disadvantage herself in order to temporarily Daze the enemy & receive a buff.

I'm still figuring out the specifics of this buff, but I'm thinking instead of an agility buff, it will increase her Critical Hit chance. The better the weapon being discarded, the better the buff will be - and it will stack the more weapons you discard over the duration of the combat. Of course, you'll only get the option to disarm Tiffany of a firearm she actually has loaded ammo for.

After combat, there will be a slight delay before Tiffany gets automatically "rearmed" of each discarded weapon, so in situations where she gets surrounded & forced into back-to-back combats, she will continue to be locked out of those discarded weapons until she's had a moment of peace to "rearm".

I will also be making this basic unarmed attack available at all times, so that Tiffany can still do some damage in the event that she has disarmed herself of every weapon in her possession:

In future builds, I will add more effective unarmed/martial-arts moves Tiffany can learn by "training" with certain instructors. ;)

In the next progress report post, I'll share a video of these 2 finished moves working in-game, alongside new Tiffany voice lines for disarming - I've sent a script of 15 lines to TheVoiceVixxen for recording.
