v0.10 BETA 4 Changelog & Known Issues

Apologies for the unreliable timing & never ending delays. Very light on features this time, this really is just the 3 new scenes, so I also apologize to those who were looking for more.

v0.10's Full Release is up next. ETA: MID - LATE OCTOBER 2024.

More details to come in a week or so. First I need to rest and catch up on some other content. But my desire is to have the first v0.11 build out in December.

Probably a bad idea to be throwing around loose ETAs after that embarrassing performance. But I do want to let people know what my goals are at least.

NOTICE!: THIS BUILD DOES NOT CONTINUE THE STORY BEYOND THE PROLOGUE (WHERE v0.09 ENDED).

[NOTE #1: You can fastforward dialogue by holding 'W', Skip sex scenes by holding 'X', & hide the dialogue window by pressing 'Ctrl'.]

[NOTE #2: Select "Progression" from the pause menu(or press 'P') to Spend any Perk/Stat points & View Skills/Acquired Perks.]

[NOTE #3: Once ingame, I recommend selecting "Configure Keybinds"('esc'->"Options"->"UI & Keys") to view all the hotkeys.]

CHANGELOG:

* Added the Dr. Milburn "heals" Iris Story Sex Scene.

* Added the Zombie Iris vs Tiffany Combat + Sex Scene.

* Added the Midget Zombie vs Tiffany Combat + Sex Scene.

^ If you have already completed Iris' quest in your existing save, simply view the 3 new scenes from the Gallery. As the game data has already been recorded in your save, there's no need to restart.


* Adjusted Vanessa's Outfit Repair Kit crafting to give the player more control over how many kits are crafted.

KNOWN ISSUES:

- You may have to whitelist "Game.exe" if your security software falsely quarantines it, preventing the game from launching.

- You may encounter a crash with no error message during a story scene that features a boss fight. This appears to be due to the handling of music tracks for boss fights.

- Only if you made a save file in the original BETA 1 upload: Loading that save file may give a repeating "Loading Error" message prompting the player to "Retry".

- Changing the "Text Speed" option from the default value of 10, will cause issues with the timing of certain voice lines that are set to auto-progress their associated dialogue boxes. In particular, the “instant” value will likely cause these voice lines to be cut off before the line has finished playing.

- The "PROGRESS" statistic may not correctly add up to 100% even after completing every current piece of content possible.

- The Zombies from the club section on "Casino - Floor 1"(Day 2) will not pause their movement while the player navigates the in-game(map-based) menus; e.g. the progression submenus.

- Zombies may climb on top of the "Casino - Basement 3" shipping crates on Day 2, after Tiffany herself climbs up.

- When "Autosave on Map Load" is enabled, the act of loading any save file will often cause a new Autosave to be made in one of the 3 designated slots. This could cause an autosave you wished to keep to be overwritten, so remember to occasionally make manual saves. Pressing '2' Will allow you to create a named save, which is useful for reminding yourself which part of the game that save was up to.

- The "HP Bug", where Tiffany's Health is not at Max HP despite taking no damage, may be back due to the new Level-Up features that have yet to be taken into consideration.

- When first entering the Casino, Terry's Flashlight beam has a tendency to lag behind his current position when he starts to move.

Thanks. I've tried not giving ETA's / having deadlines, but then nothng gets released. Always working to find the middle ground between getting things done and not destroying my health... Also, I do plan on adding a scene between Dr. Milburn & Tiffany when he is imprisoned. Since there is currently nothing to do with him if you keep him alive.

Thanks for the updates on the ETA. I always hated deadlines personally. Feel like they stress me out more than help but maybe they help keep some ppl on track. And it's not like someone's gonna be all, "You bastard. I took a week off work expecting to play Beta 4. You ruined my vacation plans!" Definitely agree with the "it's done when it's done" way of life. Always hate when video games get released buggy and unfinished or without the promised features. So imo, take your time but thanks for the updates on the ETA. Looking forward to it. I always imprisoned the Doc but these scenes look too good to miss out on.

UPDATE 2: 4 renders left to do post work on. Very much underestimated how long this part of the job would take me. I'm doing more work on these than I usually am to sell certain effects. It's atypical to find myself in a spot where almost every render needs such details. I need to get a few hours sleep before I continue though...
