Did you know I draw humans? (yes you did, I said it in a previous post) This boy is ready for his treat! All pent-up and ready~
Another returning client! It's always so wonderful to see people back. It makes me think that my art is worth it ^^ you never really know if a person is bveing honest when they say they like what you drew for them, but when they return, you KNOW they liked it!! πΈI think the prompt was very easy as well (spiked collar with a chain attached, and that expression). Prompts like this allow for a lot of creativity.
Now, you may think: "Is it better to be vague, then?" and the answer is: not necessarily! Sometimes I want creativity and sometimes I need the person to be specific (when creative juices are not as high). In this case, since this is actually my.... 9th drawing? yeah, a lot of creative power was used in the previous 8 sketches, so a little break with such a prompt is very nice ^^
Now.... I'll just say it....

Thats a beautiful looking shaft. I cooked for sure. (also isnt it funny how all of the definition is there? like the most rendered thing is that... I think it's funny, it was not on purpose lol)
I'm enjoying using white to separate objects visually (i.e. a white line on the border of a face if something is behind) and the white paint with black lineart (for "juices"). Like, It's no much fun! I always have a hard time not going straight to perfectionism (I think I've said this before). Adding those white details is the total oposite of how I work: Instead of realism, I use color lead the eye and help making the piece more understandable. I LOVE IT!
EDIT: Since client posted this online and tagged me, I'm sharing with everyone! ^^
