For fun, re-create Matti in a pixel-art low poly style.
Additionally, create her navi version if possible.

Matti and Alt Clothing
Using Aseprite and Blender 4.3.2

Took the time today to work on one last alternative outfit for Matti that was more like "her" rather than that very striking red dress.
Her human textures have been desaturated to match her canonical colors. I would probably think about desaturating a little bit her navi hair. for later...

Navi Matti Textures and Rig
Using Aseprite and Blender 4.3.2

Notes
So very tedious pixel texturing ^^ but honestly not that bad in terms of like complicated.
I rigged everything i could think of, which included the flower, little braid, big braid, tail, tail jewel, and any loose accessory i can think of.
She needs her main hair to be roughly weight painted but otherwise, very complete!

The last thing to consider is to do a facial tx sheet, to go through expressions.

Navi Matti Textures and Clothes
Using Substance Painter 2024 and Blender 4.3.2

Notes
I sent her to substance painter to do her stripes.
I exported the stripes as a transparent texture to multiply, incase i want to make edits to the body but not the stripes.
I worked on her clothes very soon after. It was tedious but it usually is lol.
Her clothes are based off her concepted clothes i did a while ago.
All of the clothes where created on a separate 256px map just for this.
I assume strongly i will need the extra px density hahaa. once i unwrapped the clothes, I went and added a braid, ears, and a tail.
I included them into the body and textured them right then and there. The next thing to do is add that to the rig.
In total she is just over 2'100 tris.

So i continued to work on matti while i relax/take things slow. I detailed her hair, more of her clothes. and then i worked on a navi variant of her. She has no clothes or stripes yet but that will be worked on eventually ^^

Matti in Long Dress

Notes
A misc project within a low poly style. And i mean very low poly.

I created her mostly from scratch, minus the hands I took from another project of mine. I also took my previous rig and re-did the weights.
