Clothes and Teeth
Using Blender 4.3, Marmoset Toolbag 4, and Substance Painter 2024 (again, not for a lot), Gimp

I finished her teeth!
Then I created a simple dress for Lila. I did a simple high poly (not that high like 16k tris), super super simple, and baked some of that detail down onto the low poly (>520 tris) so I can repaint it over, which I did in Blender!
Then I drew a very simple lace pattern by hand XD. Then I did some touch ups in Gimp where I faded the lace pattern from light to a bit darker as it circled to her back. I did not have nor want to have, a lot of time to think about her clothes XD but i needed something simple and cute so this is what I did! I think I have some more work to do but I'm not sure if i will do more paint, or more clothes. We will see.

Body, Eyes, Hair Texturing
Using Blender 4.3 and Substance Painter 2024 (not for long, most of it was Blender)

Notes
Worked on her body, eyes, eyebrows, a haircap (can't see here cause hair is covering), and started on her teeth. Matching the textured format of rake and dots with flat or textured brush strokes..etc

Hair and Hair Texturing
Using Blender 4.3

I went and took a lot of time texturing her hair by hand (and only in blender) in a very experimental/test method based off the brushes i own in Blender 4.3. And my lack of skill in painting hair in the first place.
It has painted alphas as well, with no repeating hair textures either. I believe it turned out very well for my personal needs! very stylized! Although tedious. Anyways, I needed her hair to match her future skin texturing, so I just took the time to get this done first.. cause i know it was going to be very difficult for my first time.

Symmetry, Rebakes, Paint
 Using Blender 4.3, Marmoset ToolBag 4, Substance Painter 2024

Notes
I took her retopoed base and symmetrized her. All her uvs re-arraanged and then baked everything down with High to Low as before for World Space and Position maps.
She does not need or will have normals in the end result but i did bake those down since it helps to make sure all the other potential bakes came out okay.

Then I sent her to Substance Painter and laid down her basic colors with a light generator and began to do some paint overs. To be fair, I totally forgot her concept so she is much lighter than she should've been... I will see if I will end up editing that. She still needs some contrast cause her colors are pale.

Normal Test Bakes and Teeth
Using Blender 4.0, Marmoset ToolBag 4

Worked on her teeth first with a high poly here that I modified (alot).
I did her normal bakes on those to see how it looks with sampling and smoothing. It was very good, with some tweaking. Very satisfied!
Lila needed a lot of tweaking cause of how low poly she really is but nothing some editing can't fix. All in all, the bakes came lovely (considering everything). Will I use these bakes? No XD how sad. I need just her world space and AO bakes (maybe a few others but not her normals) so I can hand paint her quicker. This was more of a workflow experiment so I am doing redundant steps.

Concept and Sculpt
Using Blender 4.0, Procreate on iPad Pro (second generation)

Notes
Started her on 10-3-2024 with a concept drawing.

 The goal was to work on a character I had no attachment to and build on my hand painting with a new workflow (oversimplified) High poly > Retopo > Bake Maps (AO, Curve, World Space).

I worked on a first Retopo pass just to recapture all of her detail onto with a multiresolution modifier so I can continue refining her sculpt and actually finish up. I was not very picky on how I did the retopo since I wont be using it for anything.

Anyways, last step for her base body here, is to do her actual retopo where I will bake maps for. I'll try to keep it as low as i can.. less than 10k but more than 3k XD. I also prepped her low poly hair. I need to add a tail and some low poly hair tuffs later... and many other things I can imagine.
