Subscription billing & new Supporter tier

I've moved from upfront billing to the new subscription billing model. For new patrons or those who rejoin, the date you join will be the membership renewal date. Simple - like any other subscription. For existing patrons, the renewal date is still the 1st of every month. If interested, you can read more about it in Patreon's blog post.

Since this change means that patrons can have different renewal dates, new releases will be sent as direct links again rather than posted to a monthly shared folder. The shared folder will become an archive for releases that are at least 1 month old.

Supporter tier

🎈 There's a new cheaper tier! I decided I want to offer the option to support my work at a lower cost. On the Supporter tier, you get:

Access to patrons only posts, including videos and photos demonstrating new features or promoting new releases
Access to the tiny PreviewCamHelper utility plugin (see next post)

It's a great option if you just want to stay in the loop and get updated about new developments.

I also plan to put a little bit more effort into WIP posts and promos. This could include more frequent work-in-progress video or image posts. And when there's a more involved video project for promoting a major new release, it will be available as an exclusive high quality extended cut. (Generally, my public promo videos are only up to 60 seconds long so that they're compatible with Redgifs and Twitter, and low in bit rate).
