Hey y’all!

Every year I get a little down around my birthday, so I keep myself entertained by doing some kind of birthday piece, last year was the exception because I was up to the neck with other projects so I was entertained alright lol.

It has been a crazy year, I think more than professional goals it’s been so gratifying to see how I’ve connected to a new depth with my art since probably January-February, a pleasure to have y’all on the ride too.

And I’m actually so glad I got time to work on this, it’s a piece that’s been lingering on my mind for months now but I wanted to do it close to the date so I could have all the emotions fresh, the result is always different when you’re this invested in whatever you’re doing.

Appreciate life, you never know if you’ll ever be here again to do so (I know how that sounds coming from me given what’s written on the second part of the piece, but trust me on this lol).
