I've been curious about Jung/Freud/Adler but never dove in. Maybe reading Jung would help me appreciate Eva (I was surprised you liked it as I personally didn't... as a teenager. And we share a lot of tastes in media).
My interest and curiosity has increased even more now, though.
EDIT so I don't have a third comment: Oni is ogre, yes. Akuma is demon, you were correct. (Bakemono is monster). For what it's worth, their idea of ogre (and demon) don't align 1:1 with typical Western ideas. That's why Oni and Akuma (in particular) are often translated on a case-by-case basis to whichever (English in this case) word makes the most sense, thematically. I could have missed something of course, but I don't believe you need to worry about which JP word is used in this particular case!
