I have this little issue with the localization and dub, since in the japanese version C.C says that indeed she was Mao's lover, it's implied they even had "something" between them but is not explicitly said what they did as lovers, Mao pretty much seen CC as an object more than a person, dude went mad due his geass and ended up crazy as a goat(thanks C.C) so nothing much can't be said aside from the things already shown in the series. Great reaction, keep them coming <3
